If we think he's better than her then why to support them? We can find someone else better than Elena. But Elena has done good things for Damon. Among with the "bad" things. Just like Damon. The thing is that they seem to forgive it's other and understand their mistakes. If Damon still deserves her (HE DID) then she also deserve him.

i don't understand why you think she doesn't deserve him. I mean she can be mean sometimes but he made some HUGE mistakes as well and she forgave him. She is the only one in MF who gave him a chance, she helped him so much. I just don't get it.

yes, she may act bitchy towards him sometimes, but lets face it, he wouldn't be half the man he is today if it weren't for elena. she showed him a better way of living your life, she showed him that there is someone there for him, she supported him through the bad times, and she pulled him back from the darkness, and above all she was willing to look beyond his past to to find the gentleman of 1864, while everyone else was always judging him and telling him that he will never change, hse was the only one willing to forgive him for that.

Of course she does. Damon has made some huge mistakes, yet she forgave him. She loves him and likes him the way he is. Damon is complicated and he keeps pushing people away. Being his other half is not easy.

She's pushing him because she doesn't want to hurt Stefan.Elena thinks the people around her.She deserves her and I'm sure that they are going to be the best couple in the show!

I don't understand the people saying she doesn't deserve him??? I will admit there r times I hate her for breaking his heart, pushing him away, and sometimes just saying strait up terrible mean things to him, but when u think about it it's not really her fault. She fell in love with Stefan and then all of a sudden damon swoops in. It's not like she's going to instantly fall in love with damon and out of love with Stefan!:/ and lets admit damon has done sooo many terrible things! Stefan has too but he was already forgiven from the start because she already fell in love with him before she new he was a vampire and it was easier to forgive him. I personally feel like she fell in love season 3 when he kissed her on the porch but she wouldn't admit it to herself because she felt guilty for loving her boyfriend brother and because of all the things he has done. So no I don't feel like damon is too good for elena. At the end of the day they both would die for eachother in a heartbeat:)
