Pity for them that Elena travels with Damon to 1994. XD

If they think so, they have no understanding of Damon's character or how the show works. That's all I have to say.

It's ridiculous, but it's also irritating. It's as if they can completely dismiss the journey and story of DE's that have been more than 5 years in the making, and just sweep it under the carpet and tread all over it. Are they naive, or just stupid? I find it very arrogant of them. No matter how much I wanted DE to get together (and I REALLY wanted them to get together), I was very aware of SE and I knew it was a very big obstacle to overcome. There was no way I could glibly assume that once Elena was a vampire or whatever, then she would forget Stefan.
Bamon fans have always been like this. Right from the very beginning of the show, they've taken it for granted that DE would evaporate like a cloud of smoke, and then Bonnie would waltz in and Damon would walk off with her into the sunset. This might sound bad, but whenever I see the Bamon comments on YouTube squealing about how 'married' Bamon are, and how Damon is 'falling in love' with Bonnie, I feel like banging my head against a wall. Not one of them has mentioned Bonnie and Elena's friendship, or how Elena would feel once she gets her memories back, or Jeremy, or DE's love in general, or how tacky and unrealistic it would be if Damon fell in love with another girl right after losing the girl he said he loved many times, never mind Bonnie. I mean, they ARE ridiculous, but extremely aggravating because they're SO confident and sure that 'Bamon' will happen. I don't remember DE fans ever assuming anything because he writers kept us on a knife-edge so often.

Even my friend that doesn't watch TVD or ships any couple, finds DB ridicilous. She was shocked about their fans. Even she can see that DE is the love story of the show. Damon finding the bear = opportunity for DE to work together and going on a mission. Elena will see how selfless Damon is, that he cares about other people, which will trigger her feelings. But of course they dismiss everything in 6x07, or DE holding hands in 6x08. Yeah DE is soooo over (sarcasm).

Bonnie/Damon? Thanks but no thanks, lol.

The other 13%: I'm disappointed. The writers explained why they made DB stuck together, and said that Damon's journey with Bonnie is over. They didn't want Damon to get stuck with a best friend, so they decide to get him stuck with his enemy to get an interesting dynamic (and bond). They're not much different than Deremy or Denzo, but Bonnie is a female, so people automatically ship it (surprise surprise). It's sad how a male/female can't be just friends in a tv show. Yes he cares about Bonnie, we already knew that. He called her on a same level as Caroline in the 6x07 hospital scene. The shippers just ignore everything that happens in the show, and see what they want to see. Let's just ignore DE's love story, let's just ignore that more people saw hope for Damon before (it took Bonnie 6 seasons...wow). Fun fact: the writers wanted to kill Bonnie off for good (2x) but changed their minds last-minute. If Damon would be stuck with another female in the 1994's, they would also think about romance. Because people make a ship of EVERYTHING. And I'm sad that a few DE fans are falling for it...getting worried. I literally had to slap them, reminding them of DE spoilers. But most DE shippers don't buy it and see that DB shippers don't understand Damon's character. After everything that happened to DE, it would take 5 more seasons to make him fall in love with another girl. It's ridicilous how they claim that even half of DB's "ship" is more stronger than any couple of the show. Or when they thought that Sarah is their daughter. Wake up. DE are going on a mission together to safe her. And we all know how missions worked out for DE in the past. It will be an exciting journey.

good god,...they never stop do they! why cant face the facts?? its NEVER going to happen. no matter how much they want it too. damon is not, and never will be in love with bonnie. he has shown NO romantic interest towards her whatsoever in all five and a quarter seasons. and its as simple as that.

have fun with your rediculous dillusions bamon fans, you will all be laughing on the other side of your asses when you are proved wrong again for the final time when delena is endgame.

yeah, they are pathetic -_- they have no idea about who damon is. he was in love with katherine for 145 years, which means even if elena wont remember him and be with someone else (but its not going to happen), it will take another 145 years for him fall out of love with her. Just today, another persistent and blatant Bamon shipper tried saying 'oh Damon doesn't care about Elena anymore, he didn't care that she was on fire in the latest episode, blahblah' -_- *facepalm* My God it's a DISGRACE! I felt like wringing this person's neck! They literally are trying to pick at anything to make DE seem less believable, and trying to make others think Bamon is on the rise...

I guess since Elena chose to erase her memories of Damon, Bamon shippers took that as code for 'yay let's be annoying as heck and not pay ANY attention to what the story has told over and over again! hey, Damon's getting closer to Bonnie! huzzah yolo! DE are over for good!' -_- apparently TVD is surrounded by a lot of idiots that have no common sense enough to see what's right in front of them.

Haha Damon didn't care she was on fire? Oh yeah, it's not like he pushed Kai over the barier. Or asked Elena if she's ok. They probably seem to ignore the fact that DE are getting closer. And Damon makes most impression on Elena when he's not trying to impress her. DB bonded over Elena, and DE are bonding over Bonnie. Elena is starting feel something for Damon and will eventually get her memories back. We just have to be patient.

^ They also fail to see how the whole DB storyline is just there to prop Damon and DE up. But seriously, does it give Bonnie any character growth? Does it do anything for her character? If I was a Bonnie stan I would spend my time being mad at the writers for using her character as a prop yet again instead of drooling over some really lame fanservice.
