However, a person with an IQ of 190 is different/unusual and applauded by society.

Average is simply that. Average.

Someone who is exceptionally rich/beautiful/intelligent can also be characterized as "different", but they wouldn't be rejected by society. That only happens in cases where different is considered negative (though what is negative and what is not is generally very subjective, which can lead to unfair prejudice.)

Aw, hell no. I've been in many experiences where difference is at the very least given a nod of acknowledgement. At the most, it's celebrated.
