Digimon vs Pokémon Vraag

Evolution.

Just thinking about this recently my group of vrienden and I were woundering about this subject in both Digimon and Pokemon.

We all know in digimon that when they evolve their data is reconfigured and/or altered.

But in pokemon they aren't data, so how does evolution work. Magicarp=>Gyrados and Remoraid=>Octillary.
What does a pokemon's body structure have to go through to evolve?

(also as a side question: how to pokemon even fit into pokeballs? and what does it look like in there? There has to be some physical discomfort to it all.)

Digimon vs Pokémon Antwoorden

I assume its rapid evolution to allow the zei pokemon stronger bodies and better skills to survive.

For the Pokéball, in the anime they are changed into energy I think(thats why every time they come out its bodies formed from the energy/laser thing), in the manga they are just shrunk as u can see them inside of it at times.

Ahh, that make sence, but wouldn't u think it would be kind of uncomfortable? Their whole body stucture suddenly changing like that.

I would think they either don't feel it, with all the body changes I doubt the nervous system would be working, of maybe it is just painless, its a natural pokemon event I doubt the natural evolution(not the evolution of going one form to another) would have made some type of bodily mechanic to make it painless and not uncomfortable.

Huh. The technology they have in pokemon. Not only in the anime can the transform matter into energy they also have the power of teleportation. I wonder if they can use the technology in pokeballs on other things.
