On Saturday 29th September 2012, we lost two of the Doctor’s companions, the Ponds. Naturally, we were all sad at the prospect of never seeing Amy and Rory again but we all knew this was the whole concept of the toon – change and renewal, therefore we all knew that we would meet a new companion in the not too far future.
