Being a deatheater was a learning experience for him, that I think definitely changed his view on life and death.

Death became more real to him, since it was around him all the time. Before it was more of "My father is a man with power. Nothing can harm me", but as the story went along and he realized that no one is safe and anyone can go at any moment. That defintely put it into light for him. He was more aware of how valuable and short life really was.

I don't think he really contemplated death until latter on. It was just living in the here and now. Trying to impress his father. But becoming a death eater, and discovering that his father was colluding with the dark lord defiantly changed his perspective of life and death. Their situation was dire. People that he cared about, people that he grew up with. They were all dying. And he was afraid. Fearful for his own life. Of how instantaneous death can be.

Definitely. If you notice, he started out thinking that he was all big and bad, but as the series moved on and he got older, he started to notice that death was not as great as it really turned out to be. You really start to notice his hesitation in Half Blood Prince when he was the one chosen to murder Dumbledore for Voldemort's own selfish reasons. Of course, we all know that he didn't go through with it, Snape did. But, anyways, Draco now realizes that he doesn't want that type of lifestyle and he doesn't want to be that kind of person.
