Duncan and Courtney Vraag

Does this change your opinion? (DxC RELATED, PLEASE READ.)

Okay so I was browsing Deviant Art this morning and came upon this Duncan/Courtney rant journal from a member with the gebruikersnaam FluffOtters. The guy made some good points about the relationship but I'd like to know, does this change anyone's opinion of them in any way? Yes of no, I'd love to hear what u guys have to say.

DUNCAN COURTNEY TOTAL DRAMA SERIES:

I say this right now, I loathe Courtney. Everything within me shudders when she opens her mouth unless it's to sing, which I do not deny is pretty good. I also can agree that she is somewhat attractive and pretty. If only she was such personality wise and that her nice looks and singing were who she was. However outside the world of Courtney lovers where Courtney can do no wrong, she isn't.

If only Courtney is as nice of as sweet as Courtney lovers are convinced she is. I do not disrespect them (usually). Although I certainly vraag their choices in people and potential sanity for liking such a bitch, I can like them. Unless they're rabid dogs of course who are on the warpath against anyone who does not agree with them. I've met some. And u can not talk to a fundamentalist, in this case the fundamentalist of Courtney/Duncan and anybody who vragen that couple could burn in the fires of Total Drama Hell. Yeah. Obviously no one can respect that.

I do not like the pairing in general. meer than just hating Courtney, they are terrible together as a couple. As a Total Drama Fan, I have to write this. Courtney is possesive, domineering, and controlling. She complains over everything Duncan (and everybody else) does and tells them what to do all the time. She treats him as an ignoramus and her personal boytoy property who she probably dates only for appearance. They have absolutely nothing in common. Courtney does not accept his apologies when on the rare occasion that he does try to. He unlike her has a hart-, hart who can like people. She is a liar, a fake, a hypocrite who does not take even her own advice

There was a girl at my school who told me to do things. Her name was Alissa. She's basically a miniture Courtney: bossy, mean, and a hypocrite. I always told her to take her own advice. She told me not to be rude, but she was incredibly rude to me, she told me not to yell inside, but she did that too, she told me not to budge in line, but she budged every day, and one dag when she budged I told her, "Hey! Don't budge!" and Alissa says, "We're all going to the same place!" I thought this was a good comeback: "Then why do u have to be in front? Why does it matter?" but I was embarrassed when she said, "Well, if we're going to the same place, why do u have to be in front?" OK I'm just starting to ramble on now ='_'= Back to the point: I agree with everything in this question, article, thingy. And it's not just because I'm a DxG fan. It's because it's all true! It doesn't matter what couple u like, it matters the facts, and it matters the opinion.

Now about this FluffOtters guy's points.

1.) First of all, what does Courtney's looks have to do with her personality. Her looks do nothing to add to of take away any of her personality traits. So his commentaar on her looks and singing skills are irrelevent to his reasons for loathing her.

2.) Only the radical Courtney fans think she can do no wrong. Normal fans, like the fans here on fanpop, see all the flaws that Courtney has, and embraces them and love her regardless. That was a REALLY big generalization he made there about Courtney fans. Especially since this point could be applied to every character's fanbase, including Duncan's and Gwen's, and not just Courtney's.

3.) He pretty much just insulted us offhandedly door "questioning our choice and sanity in people" and door insulting our favoriete character. Saying the words "No Offense" of "I respect their opinion, but.." doesn't take away the insult. That's like a Courtney/DxC lover telling a Duncan, Gwen , of DxG fan that they vraag their sanity for liking such a douche and a skank, respectively.

4.)Courtney was only "domineering and controlling" to Duncan in TDA, and that was only because of the new writers who screwed up her personality along with many others. She snapped out of it in the TDA special and the first half of TDWT and had gotten alot better in regards to Duncan before he cheated. When did she ever treat him like property of like an ignoramus? Both of them mutually exchange minor insults and teases with each other, there is nothing verbally abusive about that.

5.) What proof does he have that Courtney only liked Duncan "for his body?" She was attracted to his bad boy antics first, and the she fell for him because she saw his softer side in the trust episode. The fact the she thinks he's hot is only one aspect of her attraction towards him.

I love Courtney, shes my fav charater, I do realilize that she can be like that, but come on u all act like u never acted like before, I have and I;m not affaired to admit it, hallo nobody is perfect! Now about the DxC part, well he all have a different opinion on the couple, but not me, I will love this couple untill I die. they are the 1 couple that is so different its perfect!! and i know I'm not the only person who thinks that.
