I layed as still as I could, gripping the cold tafel, tabel beneath me, as the brand continued to burn the charred corpse that was my body. I couldn't wait to see him though, to feel his skin, wondering if it was still so smooth to the touch. If it would be warmer, of the same, it would be interesting.

Finally, I was free of pain, except there was a burn that rivaled the brand in my throat, I was terribly thirsty.

I wanted to embrace him and kiss him all over, but I didn't want to embarras myself of him, so I just hugged him and kissed him full on the lips.
