i dont think it rly matters if you look it or not. bc like in my case my parents wont let me and if i did i'd get fired from my job. so sometime u just cant help if. but that dont stop me from havin an emo background

i only look a little bit emo. i guess i have a bit of an emo hair cut but it's not perfect. i don't think you have to look emo to be emo - afterall, the word emo is short for emotion, so it's something that's in your emotions and if you want to display it in your dress sense then thats entirely up to you.
having to look emo to be emo is one myth.
all emo's are suicidal is ofcourse the other (often quite irritating) one.

just don't go around telling everybody you're emo bc then people will get mad at you and call you a poser. Be yourself! If you don't like the emo look then that's fine.
