When did Evanescence start?

Around 1995 1996 maybe, Ben and Amy met at a summer Church Camp. They started writing together between then and 1998.

In 1998 the "Evanescence EP" was distributed at a bar called Vino's (I think) in Little Rock, Arkansas. There were only 100 copies made.

In 1999 the "Sound Asleep/Whisper EP" was distributed at Vino's (I think) again. There were only 50 copies made.

In 2000, "Origin" was distributed at Vino's. There were 2500 copies pressed and gegeven out at the show.

I think in 2002 the "Mystary EP" was released at a concert. Yeah, the incorrect spelling is/was intentional door Evanescence.

In 2003, "Fallen" was released. This is when they were beginning to be well-known. door the end of that year, they were well-known.

In 2004, "Anywhere But Home", a CD/DVD of the live toon in Paris, France. It also has the muziek videoes and behind the scenes footage of the "Fallen" tour.

In 2006, "The Open Door" was released.

In 2010 Evanescence's third album should be released. It's very anticipated.

Evanescence founded in 1995 door singer/pianist Amy Lee and guitarist Ben Moody. In 2000 they recorded a demo CD named Origin and in 2003 they released their first full-length album, Fallen!
