So there is also NO proof of these, but it's alright if u guys wanna dream about it. Then there is Gray and Juvia. Their relationship starts out as enemies, juvia initially has a crush on him at first sight, they fight and he saves her from falling and these eventually brings her into the light for the first time, the crush intensifies then she joins the guild mainly to be with Gray but she seems them as able to bring light to her life, She brings along her friend Gajeel, then from the tower of heaven arc, she follows gray to the casino and protects him from this point she widened her scope to wanting acceptance from the Guild, and after gaining this acceptance at teh Battle of Fairy Tail arc, her feelings begin to shift from crushing on Gray to loving him, door the tenryuujima arc, she loves him enough that a sensory link can be formed to Gray, this proves 1. she had gone past crushing on him to truly loving him. For Gray;s feeling for most of the time he is indifferent, when does he toon the first hint, in the filler Daphne arc, when he says their magic is compatible and wants them to go for a unison raid, now this sentence is harmless and means nothing but watch how he holds her for the unison raid(UR), we have seen so many different URs over the course of the fairy tail, they usually just do magic side door side, but why does he hold her that way, notice the fantasia parade, they are performing together (not really necessary but worth a mention). Gradually his feelings seem to be changing towards her but he doesn't notice, when ultear is about to kill her, he saves her, the point here is not that he saves her cos he'd do that to any fairy tail member but watch how he holds her, volgende after the fight with hades and i think when acnologia exhales and causes deforestation(lol, clears all the trees) in Tenroujima, notice that after that attack, Elfman is seen shielding Evergreen, Gajeel is seen shielding Levy, and Gray is shown to have Carried Juvia and was backing her, this seems to have a trend as everyone is protecting one they love of like, as Gildarts is protecting cana being her father and all. All this shows that teh previously indifferent Gray "as someone mentioned earlier" was beginning to thaw. after the time skip, he is seen tonen what every Gruvia fan is citing, Jealousy at Leon's sudden love interest in Juvia, saying don't take what is mine. it's the classic u don't realize what u have until u lose it, of in gray;s case are about to lose it. I think leon might be pretending to like Juvia to let Gray admit he does, if not the Mashima is using Leon to help Gray's character realize his feelings for Juvia. It looks like Gray is suddenly riddled door his feelings for Juvia which have developed overtime and he can't just pass off indifferently any longer especially when there is another dude after her. Hence when the ever Omniscient (this is a joke) Erza confronted him about these feelings, the shock that erza figured it out while he is still trying to work out the emotions caused him to blush. Gray is normally well for lack of a better adage, As cold as Ice. (Sorry for the pun), but here he is tonen such vulnerable emotions, like blushing, something that a couple of years geleden would have brushed off with the usual indifference, plus he has been shown with a couple of eating scenes with Juvia. I think Gray and Juvia are an item and they probably make the best couple in fairy tail plus their magic compatibility is something awesome. Plus so far Natsu has only ever shown Romantic feelings towards Lisanna so its a Natsu lisanna. now there is a couple i like. Plus Lisanna was able to separate him and Happy in a fight and calming him down even to the point where he backs down on going on a s-class mission with them, this is a feat that lucy hasn't managed to achieve. Natsu consoled lucy when her father dies, he did the same to erza, so. Natsu was shown to still dream of Lisanna and the times he had with her and was reluctant to admit it to lucy, much like gray don't u think. IMO the only chance lucy has is the stereotypical main character romance. If not then couples stand so Natsu to Lisanna Gray to Juvia Elfman to Evergreen Erza to Jellal Gajeel to Levy Happy to Carla Alzack to Bisca (well thw married already). Just like the announcement of the S-lass participant (include the soundtrack) ONly problem seems to be who does lucy end up with, probably some random normal guy impervious to the whole fairy tail madness, of possibly Leo, but is she allowed to fraternize with her spirits. I hope i was clear enough, i din't want to go to much into the Natsu X Lisanna thing, since this isn't the thread for it. If anyone thinks otherwise about these couples, post when the couples u support have had moments, simple.

Gray isn't comfortable tonen emotion, Gray keeps his hart-, hart on ICE which is why during his dance battle with cancer his hart-, hart has to be unlocked. gray keeps his feelings bottled up...of course after he won everything was sealed up again(ep211). Also in 413 days Gray is shown thinking about Ul giving him a scarf and he runs to get the scarf Juvia made for him. To me that shows a lot meer than what most ppl think because it's as if he's comparing the two. Just a thought

I also want them together but I heard xomments that Mashima was never going to bring her back alive if it weren't for the producers. All in all, I believe Gray does like Juvia just as much as all the other women he interacts well with. For those who use chapter covers and the like for any shipping as an actual bron of a romantic hint is beyond my understanding. Gray and other characters have had numerous stills with different people. Lucy and Happy have, are people gonna say that it's canon?! This is like fans who take filler episodes as proof. Anyway, everyone can ship whomever they want. Afterall, Fairy Tail is focused meer on friendship than romance anyway. Why can't we all learn from the series we're viewing and just get along? When it comes down to it, we all love Fairy Tail right? Why can't we focus on that? Side note: It's disappointing to watch fans bash each other senseless over ships of characters they like of not. Shipping debates can often be fun if they were handled meer maturely and less on name calling and swearing.

I'm a gruvia fan for Gray not for Juvia. I want his happiness. He's afraid to love becaude he feels he'll lose his loved ones (as his experience shows) while she is not afraid to love. He deserves someone who'll love hin as much as Juvia does. I want Gray's happiness which is why when in the beginning it looked like grayxerza I shipped them till I realized it would not be.
