Someone knocked the door and Cas jumped up. He wasn’t supposed to let strangers in. But the person outside kept knocking and ringing, so Cas shuffled the hallway in.
“Who’s there?” he asked.
“It’s me, Meg” the person outside said. “From across the street? I brought u a plate with muffins earlier”
The door opened.
“I know you” Cas said. “You’re not a stranger, u can come in”
“Thank you” Meg zei sweet and she smiled as he let her pass. She entered the sitting room and turned around. “Okay, confession, I waited until your girlfriend left before I came up here. I don’t think she likes me very much”
Cas pulled his shoulders. “No, she’s just-”
“Jealous, obsessive, crazy?” Meg summed up.
“She’s very protective of me” Cas said. “She loves me and I love her”
“Yeah, cool story, bro” Meg zei and her eyes widened. “Did u like the muffins?”
Cas’ cheeks turned roze and he looked away. “I, eh, I haven’t tried them yet” He looked at Meg from the corner of his eyes, expecting her to be furious.
But she just slapped his arm. “Then we should do something about that” she smiled. “Where did u put them?”
Cas walked to the keuken-, keuken and Meg followed him. He opened the oven and pulled out the plate with muffins. He put it on the dresser and turned around, coming face to face with Meg.
Meg stared in his blue eyes and felt his warm breath on her face. Her mind went back to when Cas had pushed her against a uithangbord and kissed her. He had seemed to like it. She knew she had.
Cas made a few steps backwards until his back hit the dresser. Meg came closer and as her body was pressed to Cas’s she grabbed a muffin.
“Tell me, how is she?” Meg whispered in Cas’ ear.
“What do u mean?” Cas asked difficult.
“I mean, in bed” Meg clarified. She saw the confusion on Cas’ face and shook her head in disbelief. “You haven’t banged her yet?”
Cas shook his head. Meg gave him the idea that he should be ashamed of that.
“Have u seen her lady parts?” Meg asked blunt.
Cas’ face turned red now.
“I’ll take that as a no” Meg zei and she took off her shirt. “This is what lady parts look like”
Cas swallowed and he tried to avoid looking down.
“Well, you’d get a better look if I take of my bra” Meg continued.
“Please, don’t” Cas quickly said.
“Alright, big boy” Meg smirked. She took a step back and put on her shirt.
“I think u should go home pagina now” Cas zei hoarse.
“Yeah, I should” Meg agreed. “But, hey, if u ever get tired of this, u know where I live” she winked and blew him a kiss.
School was out and Jerrick walked to the gate. He didn’t see his mother anywhere, but a strange woman came his way.
“Hi, Jerrick” Meg zei charming when she reached the eight jaar old. Jerrick took a few steps back. “Don’t be afraid. I know u don’t know me, but do u remember being sick and a man made u feel better?”
Jerrick nodded heavily.
“I’m a very good friend of that man. He’s visiting your mom and I was so kind to come and pick u up” Meg explained.
Jerrick’s teacher walked towards them.
“Is there a problem?” she asked suspicious.
“No, I’m just picking...

Meg opened the door of her room and saw Dean sitting where she had expected Claire to sit. “What are u doing here?” she asked, acting calm. “And where’s Claire?”
“Oh, she’s with Sam” Dean replied. “She’s fine, door the way, no thanks to you” He got up and walked to Meg. “Seriously, Meg, what were u thinking?”
“Hey, for the record, this was her idea” Meg defended herself. “She zei I should tell her mother I’m keeping her hostage in exchange for Jimmy and I just figured it would be a lot meer convincing if I’d do it for real”
Dean shook his head, furious....

5 am
Dean entered the keuken-, keuken and saw Meg sitting at the table, with a cup of coffee.
“You’re up early” he mumbled. Meg looked up. “I get it” Dean added. “You never went to sleep”
Meg shook her head.
“Yeah, me neither” Dean replied soft. “So, eh, what are u going to do now?”
Meg shrugged and stirred her coffee.
“You know what I zei when Cas told me he loved me? I told him to shut up. I never zei it back” she zei sober.
“I’m sure he knew that” Dean zei careful.
“It doesn’t matter” Meg replied sharp. “He’s gone. There’s no need for me to be human...

Dean opened the door and followed Jimmy outside.
“Hey, wait a minute!” he yelled.
Jimmy stopped and waited patiently for Dean to catch up with him.
“Where’s Cas? What did u do to him?” Dean asked trembling and furious.
“Don’t worry, he’s alive. He’s in here, somewhere. We switched places” Jimmy explained dark.
“I thought u were dead” Dean snapped hostile.
“Clearly u didn’t pay much attention. Castiel zei I wouldn’t age of die. I’ve been stuck in my own body for ages and it’s time Castiel knows what that feels like” Jimmy replied bitter.
“But…how…?”...

Ten minuten later the door opened and Meg appeared in the doorway. Cas’ hart-, hart jumped up, but Dean walked to the door and pushed Meg outside.
“What are u doing here?” he hissed.
“Sam called me. He zei Cas wanted to see me before he died. Are u really going to deny him his last wish?” Meg asked disbelief.
“It’s for his own good” Dean zei heartless and he grabbed Meg’s arm, dragging her to the stairs, leading to the ground floor.
“For his own good? He’s dying!” Meg exclaimed.
“And who’s fault is that? You’re the one that introduced him to Heather. u left that...

It was close to midnight and Zoey had buried Daphne’s body in the garden. She hadn’t meant to shoot Dean Winchester, but if he was dead, all the better for her. The less people that were in her and Cas’ way, the better.
Of course it would take Cas some time to forgive her, but their love would survive it. She hadn’t want to kill her sister, either, but there simply was no other way. Zoey was certain that wherever Daphne was now, she would understand. Daphne was at piece. She was with Martin, the most important person in her life.
And Zoey would be with Cas and then they would raise...

Meg staggered to the uithangbord and stuck out her hand to find support. She let herself fall against the uithangbord and sank down.
“He’s just lying there. He’s not responding to anything I say” she mumbled breathless. “When I find out who did this to him- and I will find out- I’m going to torture that bastard to death” She looked aside at Heather. “I want to help inspector Roberts”
“Okay, I think I know how to find her” Heather replied.
“And…someone has to call the Winchesters” Meg continued. “They’re his…family…If he…” Meg couldn’t get herself to finish. “They...

The door to the intensive care opened door itself and an instant later it closed again. Balthazar became visible and stepped slowly to the bed Cas was lying in. There was a bandage around his head, and some kind of masker around his nose and mouth, attached to a ventilation device.
“I am so sorry, Castiel” Balthazar whispered as he lay his hand on the machine. “But I have no choice”
“What are u doing?” Anna asked sharp. Without turning around Balthazar mumbled: “Please, leave, Anna. I have to do this. Crowley will kill me if I don’t”
Anna walked to him with fierce steps. “If...

Alarmed door the blast Heather shoved the curtains in her living room aside. “Oh my God” she zei shocked as she saw Meg’s body lying on the street. She ran outside, while she searched for her phone. When she realize she didn’t have it on her, she signed at a few passengers. “Don’t just stand there like some kind of idiots. Call 911!” she yelled angry.
She kneeled volgende to Meg and lifted her T-shirt. She turned away and covered her mouth. There was an awful lot of blood.
Five minuten later the ambulance was driving to the hospital. Heather searched through Meg’s portemonnee and conjured...

Meg dropped the paper-knife and hurried back to Cas. He was still conscious, but he looked very pale and he had trouble keeping his eyes open. Meg slapped him softly in the face to make sure he wouldn’t fall asleep.
“Get dressed” Anna said. She threw some clothes at Meg and then stepped to Cas. She bent through her knees and touched his forehead. “He’s burning up again”
“He’s getting sick again?” Meg asked, trying not to sound worried, while she put on the clothes had gegeven her.
Anna nodded. “Apparently human life is very hard for him. Seems like he can’t take a lot”...

Cas kicked the door of Meg’s motel room open. On his way he had tried to call her, but she wouldn’t answer her phone and at first sight she wasn’t here either.
“Meg!” Cas called. He received no response, so he checked the bathroom. She wasn’t there. Cas glanced at the clock. 10:03 pm. She would probably be on her way to her first customer, whoever that was. He needed an address. He walked to the table, hoping there would be a little note on it. But other than a dirty cup of coffee and a coffee stain, the tafel, tabel was empty. He walked to the dresser and opened all drawers. He searched...

Crowley and Balthazar were standing opposite each other. Balthazar had summoned Crowley to have a one on one chat about Kevin.
“You must possess an incredible amount of nerve to meet me here on your own” Crowley zei mundane.
“We’re kind of short on angels” Balthazar replied. “I know your time’s precious, so is mine, so let me cut to the chase, shall I?”
“Please” Crowley answered uninterested.
“You have something that belongs to us” Balthazar started.
“You mean the tablet?” Crowley asked with raised eyebrows. “Or Kevin?”
“Both” Balthazar answered.
“And you...

Cas took Ellen’s arm and disappeared. He landed in the ICU, volgende to Jo’s bed.
“Warn me if someone’s coming. I don’t know how long this will take” Cas zei dispassionately. Ellen nodded and walked to the door. She opened it and walked outside.
Cas sank down on the bed and lay his hands on both Jo’s temples. He closed his eyes and prayed for Jo to open her eyes.
And she did. At first everything was a blur. She reached out her hand and touched Cas’ face. “Dean?” she mumbled weak. When Cas’ face became clearer she withdrew her hand. “I’m sorry”
Cas didn’t reply, but...

Cas appeared outside Dean’s room, ignoring the short shrieks of the nurses. He opened the door and Sam looked up.
“You came” he zei relieved.
“I’m sorry I left” Cas said. “There were things I needed to take care of”
“Yeah, sure, but can u save that for later?” Sam said. “Right now we really need your help”
“What’s going on?” Cas asked numb.
“Zoey didn’t just shoot Dean. She also shot Jo” Sam said.
“Jo’s dead?” Cas asked soft. Sam shook his head. “No, not yet” he said. “But her life’s hanging door a thread and u might be her only hope”
Cas...

Sam was sitting at Dean’s death bed, when the door opened and Ellen walked in. Sam was lost in grief, so he didn’t hear her. It wasn’t until she lay her hand on his shoulder that he looked up.
“Ellen?” he zei confused. He hadn’t thought about calling anyone, so why was she here? “Did Cas call you?” he asked, though he knew that couldn’t be the case.
“No” Ellen zei numb. “I had to be here” Then, with a little meer strength in her voice, she said: “That teef shot my daughter”
“What?” Sam exclaimed while getting up. “Well, where is she? Is she going to be okay?”...

Elena opened her eyes and gasped for air. She sat up and pulled the threads on her body. She climbed out of bed and opened the door.
She covered her ears when she heard dozens of shoes stepping on the floor, people talking as if they were screaming through a megaphone.
“Shut up!” she screamed and a few staff members turned around.
“Are u alright, miss?” a nurse asked. Elena shook her head confused. She leaned against the room. Everything was a blur. “I’ll get a doctor” the nurse and she looked around to find one.
Elena hurried away. She was hungry. She needed to eat something...

They heard the door close and wondered who came barging in, until a familiar, female and British voice solved the mystery.
“Anyone home?” Rebekah called from downstairs.
“Ugh” Damon sighed. “I’ll go” He stood up and walked to the door, but when he wanted to open it, the door was slammed in his face and Rebekah barged in. She held a guy in her right hand and a blood bag in her left hand.
“What are u doing here?” Elena asked tired.
“I came to apologize” Rebekah explained flighty, while she tossed the bag to Damon. “I was wrong to bite you. It’s just that I busted Stefan smooching with that vamp strumpet and u look like her, so I got carried away. I don’t understand what it is that draws Stefan to women with your appearances. You’re not even that pretty”
“I appreciate your honesty” Elena commentaar gegeven sarcastically.
“Hey, I’m as open as your legs were last night” Rebekah replied blunt and Elena’s cheeks turned red.
Caroline parked her car on the parking lot of the school. Since Damon didn’t have a car anymore he couldn’t drive them and either way, Damon nor Elena minded being banned to the backseat of Caroline’s car.
“We’re there” Caroline said, excited and nervous.
“Yeah, u go ahead” Damon mumbled, before he kissed Elena.
“Come on, guys, not in my car” Caroline reproached. She stepped out of the car and walked around to Elena’s door. She opened it and pulled Elena out of the car. “Try to restrain yourself a little” she zei with a sharp look at Elena.
Elena turned to Damon....

Summer 2007

Daphne and Roland were lying in the woods, enjoying the sun and playing like teenagers in love.
At the kust-, oever of the lake there was a handsome twenty-five jaar old man.
“Go on, Martin” a female voice said. “You can do it”
Martin turned around. “Zoey!” he zei enthusiastic and clapped his hands. Zoey came to him and he hugged her tight. “Martin loves Zoey”
Zoey caressed his hair. “I know, darling, I know” she zei sweet. “You want to go take a dip in the lake?” she suggested.
Martin looked at her and she could see the conflict in his eyes. It was really hot and...
