Do @'s work on Fanpop?

When I want to contact someone can I use @ to get in touch with them? I have seen other users do this, but IDK if this works.

No, those don't actually work as a way of contacting people, I believe. It's just a way of people tonen who they're talking to in the commentaren and such.

@ is just a way to indicate which higher commentaar of answer you're replying to. It doesn't automatically inform that user that someone has replied to them.
