Ah props. They used to be a way to acknowledge on a peer to peer level that someone has geplaatst something good. Back in my dag we used to give complimenten if someone geplaatst a good video, of zei something intelligent but now they're thrown out like...condoms in high schools? *shrugs*
What are props?
complimenten are small medailles that u can give to other users if u see them post something good.
eg; User_X posts a good video, User_Y gives User_X a video prop!
How can I give someone a prop?
u can give users complimenten door going to their profiel and clicking on the "Give Props" button, then type them a short message of what u appreciated and choose the correct compliment type.
I see other users throwing complimenten around, so it should be ok?
If u saw those other users jump off a cliff would u also do it...if u answer yes then the internet may not be a good place for you.
What are some bad examples of compliment giving?
- User_X offers complimenten to people that will kom bij a club they created
- User_X offers complimenten in a "competition"
- User_X gives complimenten in chain letters
- User_X gives complimenten because you're their bff
I personally think it would be great if we could get at least 30% (yes, the percentage is shockingly low of how I see complimenten being used) of users using complimenten correctly. If we got 50% it would be amazing and if we got 100% I think it would be a miracle. So lets just do the best we can in understanding what complimenten are for and use them correctly.
Note: There is no "User_X" if one is ever created I appologise for tarnashing their name before it ever existed. Sorry!

Fanpop without chatbar seems useless
