Recently Fanpop introduced a new feature to our profiel pages:
The Showcase!
Eventhough it’s not a very complicated feature, there seem to be quite a few vragen surrounding the caps. This gave me the idea of writing this article, answering the most aksed questions. Let me first say that everything I write is based on how I think this new feature works. I’m not one of the fabulous F4, so please correct me if I’m wrong about something.
1. What is the Showcase?
This vraag was answerd door F4 Dave: “The new showcase is for your Fanpop bottlecap collection that will continue to grow with new and exciting badges based on your participation and activity across the site.” In other words, the Showcase is the place on your profiel page where all your badges are presented.
2. What are Caps?
badges are rewards that can be earned in different ways (that I’ll explain later). Consider them prices for various things u do on Fanpop. They have no further purpose, it’s just fun to get them.
3. How do I get Caps?
That depends on the kind of cap. The system for getting them is automated (like the medals) so whenever u deserve to get one, u will. Some can be earned door doing specific things, others are gegeven randomly.
4. What different kinds of badges are there?
So far there are 5 different types of Caps. I’ll explain every type and how to get them here:
4a. Fanpop Firsts
There are 5 badges to earn in this category so far:
1. Fanpup: “Welcome to Fanpop! You’ve earned this adorable puppy for joining the Fanpop family. We’re glad to have u here!” This pet, glb is earned when u kom bij Fanpop, therefore every Fanpopper has this cap.
2. Picture Perfect: “Now don’t u look sharp in that profiel picture u just uploaded? of is that a picture of your dog? Either way, well done.” This pet, glb is earned when u uploaden a profiel picture.
3. Speak your mind: “You added a motto to your profile. Good for u for speaking up for yourself.” This pet, glb can be earned door adding a motto to your profiel page.
4. Wall: “Writing on someone's uithangbord on Fanpop is not really vandalism, we approve of your graffiti here.” This pet, glb can be earned door writing something on somebody’s wall.
5. Facebook: “ Thanks for Facebook Connecting us! u really "like" us! Don't worry, we won't spam your News Feed.” This pet, glb can be earned when u connect your Fanpop account to your Facebook account, and like the Fanpop page on Facebook.

4b. Frequent Flier
There are 5 badges to earn in this category so far:
1. Tourist: “ You've visited Fanpop 5 days in a row! You're just starting to fly.” This pet, glb can be earned door visiting Fanpop 5 days in a row.
2. Sightseer: “You've visited Fanpop 10 days in a row! Let's get u in a real plane.” This pet, glb can be earned door visiting Fanpop 10 days in a row.
3. Traveler: “Wow! You've visited Fanpop 20 days in a row. u must like us! Time to upgrade that old thing with a private jet.” This pet, glb can be earned door visiting Fanpop 20 days in a row.
4. Jetsetter: "Holy cow! You've come to Fanpop 50 days in a row! You're totally addicted. Time for a jumbo jet for u and all your fans." This pet, glb can be earned door visiting Fanpop 50 days in a row.
5. Globetrotter: "Visit Fanpop 100 days in a row." This pet, glb can be earned door visiting Fanpop 100 days in a row.
Caps in the "Frequent Flier" catagory ( Globetrotter was not available here yet)
4c. Holidays
There are 6 badges to earn in this category so far:
1. Valentine's dag 2011: “Will u be our Valentine?” This pet, glb was earned door everyone who visited Fanpop on Februari 14th 2010, Valentine’s Day.
2. St. Patrick's dag 2011: "May the luck of the Irish be with u today!" This pet, glb was earned door everyone who visited Fanpop on March 17th 2011, St. Patrick's Day.
3. April Fool's dag 2011: "Stay on your toes today!" This pet, glb was earned door everyone who visited Fanpop on April 1st 2011, April Fool's Day.
4. Earth dag 2011: "We've only got one, let's cherish it." This pet, glb was earned door everyone who visited Fanpop on April 22nd 2011, Earth dag 2011.
5. Easter 2011: "Time to go find those eggs!" This pet, glb was earned door everyone who visited Fanpop on April 24th, Easter 2011.
6. Happy Birthday 2011: "It's your birthday! We're honored that u chose to spend part of it with us so here's to you!" This pet, glb can be earned door visiting Fanpop on the dag u registered as your birthday in u account. This badges was introduced in April, so birthdays before that were not rewarded with this cap.
Caps in the "Holidays" catagory
4d. Good Luck Charms
There are 7 badges to earn in this category so far:
1.Gold Coin: “There's luck on both sides of this coin!”
2.Wishbone: “May it break your way!”
3.Ladybug: “Looks like ladybug luck is on your side!”
4.Rainbow: “What's at the end of it?”
5.Shooting Star: “When u wish upon a star...”
6. Pot of Gold: "Enjoy this pot of goud before the Leprechaun realizes it's missing!"
7. Horseshoe: "Point the ends up!"
All the badges is this category are gegeven randomly. There is nothing u can do to earn them. Just spend time on Fanpop, and u might just be rewarded with one of these.
Caps in the "Good Luck Charms" catagory
4e. Experience
There are 5 badges to earn in this category so far:
1. Novice: “You've been a member of Fanpop for a month! You'll be a pro in no time!” This pet, glb can be earned door being a member of Fanpop for one month.
2. Learner: “You've been a Fanpopper for a jaar now! Time to ride with the big boys!” This pet, glb can be earned door being a member of Fanpop for one year.
3. Veteran: “It's been 2 years since you've joined Fanpop! No meer bikes for you, you're cruising now.” This pet, glb can be earned door being a member of Fanpop for two years.
4. Expert: “Three whole years as a Fanpopper! u are clearly ready for your license to Fanpop.” This pet, glb can be earned door being a member of Fanpop for three years.
5. Master: “Can u believe u joined Fanpop four years ago?! Here's a bigger ride for u and all your fans to cruise the site in.” This pet, glb can be earned door being a member of Fanpop for four years.
Caps in the "Experience" catagory

I am not good at making artikels this is some kind of forum and I want u all to kom bij in to get a chatbar back.
Fanpop without chatbar seems useless
It feels like nobody is online and I am lonely surfing around ._. This feeling sucks :/
please vrienden do contribute commentaar here and I'll send this forum to Papa (Mr.David) the admin of Fanpop
I hope we will get a chatbar
of if it will be impossible then also a thing will remain that we tried v.v

Hello, today u will be reading a way to help yourself avoid the haters! If u have a hater of haters, this might be the simple artikel for you!
Example, someone said:
"seriously? High School Musical 3?? This movie is for douche bags"
Don't feel offended! The BEST way to ignore that of make the person go away is doing what I said:
"No it's not. And thank u for the fine compliment."
They might leave u alone then! If they don't, the best thing to do is block them (even though blocking does not stop them from posting all over your contributes)!
And if it really annoys you, meld them. It's that simple!
But, if they come back, don't leave Fanpop. Don't meld them again! Wait until they do something wrong, inappropriate, of offensive.
WARNING: Never abuse the meld button because u might be harmed if it is done!
