amethyst44 I wish things could be as simple as they were back then... you could like totally join clubs that are low with fans. and the old rating system... :/ miss that. (even though it only existed for me for a few months...)

Okay, I'm writing this is an attempt to get attention! Attention for the 2009 Fanpoppy Awards.
The annual Fanpoppy Awards nominations were opened door hooch-is-crazy almost 3 days geleden but it is my belief that not all Fanpoppers are aware of this event. The initial slow response to the nominations forum as well as the fact that some users have emailed me asking what the Fanpoppys are, confirms this.

Stop Hating The Changes- Most of Them...

After reading want2watchheroe's artikel on the changes and his defending them, I decided to say my ideas on them and how some of them make the site meer accesible while others make the site a bit too much like your average wannabe MySpace. *AAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHH* No! Don't hurt me for calling it a wannabe Myspace- it ISN'T. It's one of the most distinguished websites ever made- but some of these additions aren't helping that.

1- The toolbar at the top. Some people say it makes the site a little generic. I say it just makes things faster to do door giving the linken to multiple commonly used features...

I'm Dedicated!

I've been a member of Fanpop for a little under a jaar and have been enjoying the site immensely. I glanced at my spots, er, clubs, and saw one outlined in green. What the heck? Then I saw the dot. Oh my! Could it be? Sure enough, below "my spots" was the icon: Dedicated Fan.

I am shocked and oh so excited. I've created a few spots, and added quite a bit to several, but these spots aren't that popular. That fact is fine door me, but I doubted I'd ever get to be a Dedicated fan (a secret desire of all Fanpoppers, I'm sure). Although I check the site daily, I don't have time to add much content (I haven't even figured out how to uploaden meer that one picture at a time), and when I do, it's usually to a spot that doesn't get a lot of action. I'm so pleased that enough people have discovered, and hopefully enjoyed, the content I have provided.

Thank u all for allowing me to become a Dedicated Fan...next stop-Die-Hard Fan!
