Full Metal Alchemist Vraag

I been wondering...

In brotherhood when Ed and granny are digging up the thing that Ed and Al transmuted, why was Ed in pain? And why was he throwing up?
I know he zei his stumps hurt because of the weather but they wouldn't hurt so bad that he would throw up...

Sorry but this is going to be long. In brotherhood Edward is in pain because he has artificial limbs and its raining. Whenever a body part is amputated it becomes extremely sensitive, especially to cold and wet weather. Also the fact that his prosthetic is made of metal only aggravates the pain to an almost unbearable level. Throwing up is a natural reaction to extreme pains of any sort. The fact that he is over exerting his body is not a helpful factor either and only helps in increasing the pain. Hope I helped. ^_^

Oh ok I thought that was it but panninya's limbs only ached when the weather was bad so I thought that couldn't be it.

Well everyone has a different pain level also I am not entirely sure for Paninya since we do not see her overexerting herself in bad weather but that's about all I know since I didn't finish the brotherhood series.
