Ed had just become a State Alchemist. mustang led the 12-year-old boy to a large room. Ed peered into the glass. There was a 9-year-old girl in the room. She was scowling at the chimera across the room. She grabbed a mes and cut part of her kraag bone. The chimera growled and ran at her. The chimera leaped and she ducked and the chimera leaped over her. She clapped her hands and held them together. Sparks flew from her hand and she narrowed her eyes. Mason heard a loud crash, and realized that the door had been thrown open. He quickly turned to the lit candles, and blew them out. He then turned to Charlotte, and grabbed her door the shoulders.

"Go to northern Amestris. As soon as u kruis the border and head into snow, go west until u run into a small cottage. The old man and lady there know me. hey'll help you." charlotte furrowed her brow, and placed a finger on his head.
