I was woken door the strong smell of coffee drifting over to where I was curled up on the cheap bed-spread. I knew Will was making coffee for us both, but opening my eyes would only bring me back to the present dag and I defiantly didn’t want to face the decisions I would have to make. I woke this morning in a daze. My head was spinning and I knew my eyes were red raw. I rubbed them vigorously with balled up fists and fell back onto my pillow. ‘Dylan?’ I whimpered. He was here, again. I sat in the middle of my bed watching the air gradually shimmer. Like liquid light – a ribbon of it burning in the faint shape of a person. Surrounding it was a sheer mist of goud with flecks of burnt oranje and topaz. They swirled around the figure as if it were a barrier of a shield. Harley is still out. Is she ok? Is her self control up to it? She seemed under-control when she first met Tristan and still planned to take him up to the cliff. Did they have an argument? Have they fallen out? They seemed so perfect together. Like a jigsaw, she just fit right volgende to him. Like they were made for each other; their whole purpose was to fit together.
