My name is Sarah. My dad is David Gurian! I’ve been keeping track of the growing knowledge of and interest in BTVOTD And came across this page. I wanted to say hi because my dad basically eschewed the spotlight entirely after the film- but I love it and I love when people celebrate this film and his role in it!

Did u have any reservations working for a filmmaker like Russ Meyer in independent films? (Coolbert)

No, I had no reservations about working with Russ. He had his rather strange attitudes about certain things I thought, but I got along with him quite well all in all. I noticed a book about Russ is out. The auteur interviewed me a couple of years ago, and sure enough he does quote me here and there.
