People think that Gia Carangi put the fashion industry to shame simply because of her drug addiction, and the way she had died (AIDS). I saw a televisie program once long geleden with Cindy Crawford, she had spoke of Gia very crudely, the program was supposed to be based on the glorious life of a supermodel so talk of Gia was far & Few. No one ever really cared much for her, everyone was jealous of her because she made a statement of beauty back in the day. The only person who I believe truly loved her as a friend, would have to been Francesco Scavullo. Also it is just the fact that word didn't get around of her death, she kind of just disappeared into the atmosphere.
