I've heard that the actors' contracts will expire at the end of this season. They frequently complain about this show, so I find it hard to believe that any of them will want to renew their contracts. It just seems like they're all ready to move on to bigger things.

I want another season :) Well Leighton Meester said once that she will be in the show until season 6, so I think it ends in s6

my guess is if the show does well this season, then it will probably get picked up for a 6th season, but I couldn't see it going on for longer than that.

I think it depends on the ratings at the beginning of the season. I'm crossing my fingers that this is the last season.

I think there will be one more season after this one. This show really is running out of gas, and I think 6 seasons will be a good amount.

I know they are many rumors that it's the last season, but....I don't know, I wish there will be a season six!

i wish and are pretty sure that season 6 will be the last one,so 2 seasons again of Gossip girl:) i dont want more,because i dont want it to be destroy,like One tree hill.

My thoughts are that the show will end in the 6th season - the same time the actor's contracts expire and yeah I don't think any of them will want to do any more TV work after spending the last 6 years doing GG.

I do pray to God though that they don't end it in Season 5..I feel its too soon and abrupt, give us another year at least.
