I have been working on an alternative story for Graystripe and Silverstream since May, and I think now it's time to toon the story to the public. The story is in Graystripe's first-person point of view. Here's the introduction:

"...A sign from StarClan," she mewed.
She then prayed silently to StarCland What and who was the sign for? She stopped praying. Yellowfang then looked at me.
"No good will come of you, Graystripe," Yellowfang started a prophecy. "Not long from now, u will face a sadness not even *I* can cure. A broken hart-, hart is in your future."...

I WAITED AT SUNNINGROCKS FOR SILVERSTREAM to arrive the volgende day. To make time pass, I cleaned myself until my gray vacht, bont glistened in the sun.

Silverstream made it fight on schedule. Her green eyes were fixed right at me as she skidded across the shore.

"You look nice today," she said.

I purred softly. "You do, too."

"Really?" she asked, looking down at her paws.

I put my paw on top, boven of hers. "Of course."

She looked up at me, shocked I can tell. I just smiled at her, hypnotized door her green gaze. Silverstream's eyes fluttered. She looked up at the sky.

"Are we going to the Viewing Rock, of what?"...

"WHAT?" I EXCLAIMED. I DIDN'T understand what she was saying.

Silverstream sobbed, "I can't do this!"

"Why?"

"I can't love you," she gasped for air, "And fight battles against you! I'm being torn in two!"

She was sobbing so violently, that she couldn't talk anymore. I couldn't believe I tried to kill her!

I needed to end this. It could stop her suffering. "I'm sorry. I was being selfish! And, besides, I don't deserve you! I'm a murderer! And u were going to be my future victim! I--I--" I was about to break down. "I have to go. u should go home."

I HAVEN'T SEEN SILVERSTREAM SINCE THE whole vos, fox story. Tigerclaw told me to sleep where the cats with whitecough were. Fireheart tried to convince him that it was just a cold, but nothing had phased Tigerclaw. After about a moon, I was finally cure, and able to go to the volgende Gathering.

We waited for Bluestar's signal before we were able to run towards the other Clans at Fourtrees. I saw Silverstream talking to a WindClan warrior. IT WAS THE FIRST ICE ON the river. My best friend, Fireheart, myself, and our apprentices, Brakenpaw and Cinderpaw, have noticed this when we doing a border patrol.
"Can we take a look?" Cinderpaw asked Fireheart.
Cautiously, we moved closer to the ice. I then scented prey.
Water vole?
The water vole was padding across the ice. Instinctively, I did the hunters' crouch. Then, I pounced on the vole. It didn't see me coming. A quick toss in the air with my claws killed it off. Clenching the prey in my jaws, I headed to the ThunderClan side of the river. But then, Crack! went the ice.

I WAITED AT THE kust-, oever OF Sunningrocks about a quarter moon later. I sniffled a little and sneezed. I still have that cold, but I think it will go away in time. I visited Silverstream three times, and so far that was just to talk.

I HAVEN'T SPOKEN TO FIREHEART since the dawn patrol. I have been training Brakenpaw and seeing Silverstream for about another half-moon.

I couldn't believe that Fireheart tried to convince us to only meet at Fourtrees. I've seen her over a dozen times, and I didn't want this to end.

But, one day, we had received news from the Sunhigh patrol that they scented rogues. We had to be prepared to fight. Before long, Brokenstar, the former leader of ShadowClan leader, and his band of former ShadowClan members, have raided the camp.

I SPENT TIME TRAING MY APPRENTICE, but then, I started seeing Silverstream again. One day, Silverstream was early. Her eyes were filled with sorrow. I ran over to her, pressing my muzzle against hers.

I was frantic. "What's wrong?"

Silverstream paused a little before mewing, "I think we should only meet at Fourtrees."

My mind was in a daze. *Only meet at Fourtrees? Whose mouse-brained idea was this?*

"Why?" I asked her. "We never had problems before."

"Well," she said, "Fireheart visited me and asked me."

"*Fireheart*!?" *Fox dung! I should've known!*

I JOLTED UP AT MY NEW surroundings. I remembered that I was in RiverClan now. I can no longer talk to my best friend, Fireheart, again. It was still dark outside, from the willow leaves. It was also drizzily outside. I decided to go to the nursery.
"Graystripe," It was Mistyfoot. She was in the nursery, with two kits snuggling against her belly. "What are u doing up this early?"
"I just had a bad dream," I whispered, hoping not to wake up the kits.
"Silverstream again?" Mistyfoot's eyes were now clouded with grief for her lost friend.

I walked away from the river, with a heavy heart. The wind blew against my long, dark gray fur. I felt the thin shards of gras against my paws, as I stepped. I then heard a familiar voice call my name.
Graystripe, the voice whispered.
I looked in front of me, and I saw a familiar silver pelt. Silverstream?
"Graystripe!"
I couldn't believe it! "It really is you!" I gasped. I touched my muzzle to hers. It felt good to see her beautiful face again. "I thought u were gone, forever!"
"Of course not," she replied, her green eyes filled with affection. "Don't ever forget the love I left behind!"...
