Close your eyes through your entire practice session. Do not picture your way around the fretboard, hear your way around it.

Hear yourself to the volgende note, to the next, chord, to the volgende scale. It should be a relaxed exercise, not a strained one. Like when you're at a distance from a battery powered clock.

If u strain to listen to its tick u cant hear it but when u relax and allow it to come to you, u can hear it clearly.
