1 THE AWAKENING Directed by Jeffrey Walker Written by Joss King
Cleo and Rikki are about to face their final year at school together without Emma, who‟s gone overseas. They're confident they've overcome the affect of the full moon and know everything about Mako Island and its magic. Zane surprises Rikki with an offer for her to join him as a partner in a new upmarket cafe, while Lewis is taking his relationship with Cleo a little too comfortably. When Will, a boy with remarkable skills underwater stumbles upon the Moon Pool, he encounters a strange water force and is knocked unconscious. That night, at the opening of the new cafe, Rikki and Cleo meet Bella, a new girl who helps Rikki out of a tricky situation by stepping in to sing in Nate‟s band. In a break outside, Rikki's attacked by water and dragged out to sea. Bella sees this and joins Cleo to rescue Rikki. Cleo's shocked to find Bella's a mermaid too! Rikki's saved from the encounter but they find the new boy Will in the Moon Pool. The girls realise something has changed on Mako Island, and it appears Will is now on the trail of their magic and secret.
2 JUNGLE HUNT Directed by Jeffrey Walker Written by Anthony Morris
First day back at school and the girls are surprised to discover Will's attending too. Will's thrilled to find Rikki and approaches her seeking help to return to Mako Island to find any confirmation of his earlier experience. Bella‟s smitten with Will and enthusiastically volunteers to accompany him instead to keep him from relocating the Moon Pool. Cleo and Lewis use the opportunity to do their own investigation in the cavern. Concerned Bella's in over her head, Rikki trails her and Will on the island and when Bella falls into the creek is able to dry her out. Will becomes suspicious when he finds Rikki on the island and doubly so when Bella accidentally uncovers the land entrance of the Moon Pool and they catch Cleo and Lewis in the cavern. The girls use the opportunity to interrogate Will to learn what he encountered on the night of the full moon. Sensing how close he is to their secrets, Rikki takes action and discounts his memory of the night. Will‟s defused and Bella's left conflicted by what they did to convince him. After he's left, the girls and Lewis find evidence that the Moon Pool has changed and that it has new magic.

3 KEEP YOUR ENEMIES CLOSE Directed by Jeffrey Walker Written by Sam Carroll
Cleo applies for a new job at the Marine Park as an assistant dolphin trainer. Bella's supportive but Rikki's wary. Cleo's soon in over her head when she catches Will innocently swimming with Ronnie the dolphin in the holding pool. He's a natural and has Ronnie leaping through the air. Cleo's supervisor Laurie is impressed with Cleo when he sees Ronnie do the amazing leap apparently at her own instruction.
He arranges Cleo to join the main performance show. After hearing Nate's latest love song at rehearsal in the cafe Rikki fires the band. She doesn't want customers vanishing! Bella spars with Rikki, thinking it's her she's really upset with until she finds that the issue is really with Nate! Cleo feels pressured when she‟s certain she won‟t be able to retain the job. Will steps in to help her and Cleo wows the audience with her main performance. Bella and Rikki come to an understanding: the band can stay as long as Bella continues as the lead singer. Bella rounds off a busy day with a terrific performance at the cafe.
4 VALENTINE‟S DAY Directed by Jeffrey Walker Written by Simon Butters
Valentine‟s day hits, but the girls are at the point in their lives where it presents them with challenges, not carefree romance. Rikki finds all the work to establish the new cafe is eroding her relationship with Zane, not bringing them closer. Cleo‟s forced to put Lewis plans for a date on hold to restrain Kim‟s out of control love-life, while Bella‟s crush on Will deepens and she struggles to communicate her interest toward him. A routine Marine licensing inspection leads to a romantic encounter for Don but is brought to a rapid halt when the representative, Samantha is thrown overboard and it looks like Don‟s set to be fined. Rikki and Zane find a way to connect when it‟s apparent some one-on-one is required. Cleo helps Kim understand what real love is and following Don‟s encounter with Samantha, he‟s now inspired to find some of his own.
5 BIG IDEAS Directed by Jeffrey Walker Written by Philip Dalkin
Zane‟s management style is steering the cafe into debt and Rikki‟s not impressed by his latest plans for a complementary dirt bike hire business. He concocts a dirt bike race, knowing he‟s the best bike racer in town, to raise some urgent funds for the cafe. Bella helps Will enter and Zane‟s surety of winning is threatened. Making amends for his disinterest in the water attacks, Lewis accompanies Cleo to return to Mako Island to investigate the new cascade in the Moon Pool. When Bella discovers that Nate and Zane plan to rig the race, Rikki decides to teach them a lesson. Bella uses her mermaid power to ensure their plan falls flat. Rikki makes her own event to help get the cafe out of debt, while Cleo and Lewis make a surprising discovery when they mix the waters from the pool and cascade in the Moon Pool.

6 SECRETS & LIES Directed by Jeffrey Walker Written by Simon Butters
Bella‟s infatuation with Will deepens and she can‟t help but follow him around! She tries to set up a study date, but finding herself stood up she confronts Will at the Boatshed only to discover he‟s apparently already got another girl! Lewis‟ apparatus to test the properties of the magical Mako water attracts the attention of their Science Teacher Ms Taylor who believes it is his Science project. Caught with evidence of their Mako secrets, Lewis is in trouble until Cleo uses her powers to replicate the effect and help him submit an alternative project. Ignoring Rikki‟s advice, Bella continues to pursue the truth about Will and the mystery girl and follows them diving. She is almost discovered as a mermaid until Rikki comes to her aid. Bella‟s embarrassed, but relieved to find that the girl is only Will‟s sister Sophie and there‟s hope for a relationship with Will after all.
7 HAPPY FAMILIES

Cleo‟s placed in an awkward situation when Don takes the family to the beach to help his daughters bond with his new partner Samantha. When Cleo is unable to join them in the water and accidentally hits Sam in the face with a towel, Don interprets Cleo‟s behaviour as a disapproval of Samantha and draws his relationship with Sam to an end. Seeing the upset she‟s caused, Cleo‟s quick to convince Don that she is cool with Sam and counsel Kim who‟s not. Rikki‟s put in the middle when Will‟s ambitious sister Sophie competes with Bella for a job at the cafe. Bella‟s alert to Sophie‟s manipulations and schemes but Zane‟s impressed. Rikki‟s mindful of her best friend, but Sophie‟s obvious enthusiasm leads Rikki to give her a try. Cleo finds Don takes her counsel to heart when he announces he and Sam are engaged!
8 KIDNAPPED Directed by Jeffrey Walker Written by Chris Roache
The girls prepare to sleepover at Cleo‟s in an effort to protect themselves from any water attack. Lewis too is on the front foot and has installed a camera in the cavern of the Moon Pool to capture any evidence of the mysterious water force. Reminded of his previous experience on the last full moon, Will‟s inspired to return to Mako Island. When he arrives at Cleo‟s seeking Bella‟s assistance Bella disappears! She‟s apparently been taken by a water tentacle to Mako Island. The girls rush to her rescue and charge Lewis to keep Will away. They encounter a frightening development in the Moon Pool and are able to rescue Bella but Lewis is unable to keep Will away and he finds proof there‟s magic in the Moon Pool cavern when he relocates his missing torch from the previous full moon. The girls now face an inquisitive and wary Will who‟s determined to get to the bottom of the mystery.

9 THE SORCERER‟S APPRENTICE Directed by Jeffrey Walker Written by Philip Dalkin
Disregarding Lewis‟ advice not to experiment with the gravity defying water they created from the Moon Pool, Cleo contrives an opportunity to keep him occupied for a day so she can. When Rikki accidentally gets the magic water in Cleo‟s aquarium, Cleo‟s favourite fish Hector becomes suspended in a floating bubble of water! Cleo‟s aghast when all their hasty efforts to retrieve Hector result in him going down the drain. The girls are joined by Bella and use their powers to retrieve Hector from the canal outside Cleo‟s home before he‟s lost forever but Will appears to have seen too much. Lewis returns after an eventful day of golf with Don where to keep things amicable he‟s successfully devised his own loss! He‟s now regretting suggesting Cleo hold back from her experiment but Cleo‟s now wishing she had.
10 REVEALED Directed by Jeffrey Walker Written by Sam Carroll
Cleo and Rikki warn Bella to back off from Will as they know he‟s on the trail of their mermaid secrets. It‟s difficult for her as Will‟s becoming more intrigued by Bella and his increasing interest is making her feel a relationship may finally happen between them. Bella‟s left with no option but to stop seeing Will. Unfortunately, the directive comes too late as a close encounter with water leads Will to recognise Bella‟s secret and expose her as a mermaid! Bella‟s left on tenterhooks when Will stalls at keeping his incredible discovery private. Bella prepares for the worst at that night‟s gig at the cafe, but Will pledges to keep her secret only a relationship between them appears unlikely for the minute.
11 JUST A GIRL AT HEART Directed by Jeffrey Walker Written by Anthony Morris
Riled by Sophie‟s approach to Will‟s free-diving training and keen to keep him onside now that he knows her secret, Bella offers to be his „guest coach‟ when Sophie‟s away. Bella gives him swimming advice from her special perspective as a mermaid. It results in her training in the swimming pool with Will and he‟s captivated. It seems a connection between them has finally been forged, however Bella‟s interference in Will‟s training makes her an instant enemy of Sophie. When Bella realises Will‟s fascination in her is only as a mermaid she‟s hurt and rejects him, taking comfort in her friends Cleo and Rikki instead. Rikki‟s plans to host corporate functions in the cafe go awry when a misunderstanding between Rikki and Zane leaves her and Cleo to cater for a demanding group of kids who are expecting a performing clown. Fortunately Cleo helps put their mermaid powers to good use to turn the event into a success.

12 CRIME & PUNISHMENT Directed by Jeffrey Walker Written by Max Dann
Rikki inadvertently uncovers some counterfeit cash from a sale at the cafe and when following it up, finds herself held by criminals on their boat. It‟s her birthday and when Rikki fails to arrive at her own surprise party in the Moon Pool, Cleo and Bella go in search of her. They find themselves needing Will‟s help and through this are forced to reveal to him the truth about the whole trios‟ identities as mermaids. Will helps them free Rikki from the criminals on the boat only to narrowly escape when it catches fire in the rescue. At the cafe, Sophie finds the girls‟ mermaid inspired birthday gift for Rikki and edges closer to their secret. Fortunately Will retrieves it and delivers it to Rikki, sensing it required saving from his suspicious sister. Will‟s actions seal his place in the group but it‟s something Zane isn‟t happy about.
13 TO HAVE AND TO HOLD BACK Directed by Jeffrey Walker Written by Simon Butters
Lewis is given the chance of a lifetime with an opportunity to study overseas. But he‟s interrupted from telling Cleo by Sam and Don surprising everyone and announcing an early wedding ceremony. When Kim learns about Lewis‟ impending departure, she sees an opportunity to sabotage the event and breaks the news to Cleo. Distraught but determined, Cleo focuses her attention on organising the entire ceremony for Don and Sam on her own, outside the cafe. With Lewis as Best Man and Cleo as Maid of Honour, the ceremony is icy. Another stunt from Kim gives Lewis the opportunity to declare his love for Cleo and let her know his decision he‟s not going. Not to be foiled by her sister, Kim plots yet another way to derail everything and this time succeeds, nearly exposing the trio as mermaids. But with Rikki, Bella, Will and Lewis‟ help, Cleo recovers the ceremony and transports it to Mako, to finally give Don and Sam the wedding they deserve. In the process, she realises she must let Lewis go to follow his dreams and in a bittersweet goodbye, Lewis departs.

14 MERMAID MAGIC Directed by Colin Budds Written by Anthony Morris
Zane‟s increasingly annoyed at Will‟s natural connection with the girls an issue that bugs Sophie too. When Zane learns Will has the potential to be a free-diving champion, he sees the opportunity to put Will in his place. He indicates his interest to sponsor Will and requests a demonstration of Will‟s abilities setting up a challenge where he goads Will by cheating. Will responds to the challenge and undertakes an immediate dive without proper preparation. When Will doesn‟t resurface, Zane realises he‟s made a serious error. Zane urgently calls on Rikki for help and she saves Will‟s life creating a special bond between them. Cleo leads the girls to investigate the Mako rock Will recovered from the Moon Pool and they discover inside it a strange and rare crystal. It matches the one Bella wears, which she found in the Irish pool that made her a mermaid!
15 POWER PLAY Directed by Colin Budds Written by Anthony Morris
Sophie steals Bella‟s idea for a fundraising concert at the cafe and presents it as her own to Rikki, gaining kudos for it as well as the responsibility to organise it. Bella feels misunderstood when nobody appears to notice Sophie‟s underhanded dealings especially when Sophie purposely drops Bella‟s band from the event. But Rikki discovers the truth when the fundraising concert nearly collapses due to Sophie‟s mismanagement. Rikki realises Bella‟s been right all along and fires Sophie from the cafe. Cleo faces a power struggle of her own as Sam moves in and introduces her touch to the Sertori home. A fight develops over the use of the bathroom which mermaid difficulties for Cleo until Sam recognises what Kim‟s up to and finds a way to repay her for Cleo.
16 THE DARK SIDE Directed by Colin Budds Written by Sam Carroll
It‟s a full moon and the girls plan to fortify themselves in the cafe to avoid any water attack. They turn to the boys for support, but when Bella invites Will to help, Zane reacts and continues with his own plans for a night at the cafe with the boys. Fed up with Zane‟s attitude and frustrated by their inability to stop the water attacks, Rikki goes to Mako Island to confront the strange water force alone. Cleo and Bella learn of Rikki‟s departure but are delayed at the cafe when first Kim arrives with her friends acting on news of a wild party and then when Don arrives to locate Kim! In the Moon Pool Rikki forms a connection with the water tentacle until Will arrives in an effort to protect her. She finds she can stop the tentacle when it goes to attack Will. The incident affects Rikki deeply and she charges Will not to let the others know about it...
17 A MAGNETIC ATTRACTION Directed by Colin Budds Written by Sam Carroll
Cleo reinvestigates the Mako rock when she‟s amazed to find it‟s become highly magnetic. Determined to unlock the mystery behind what is causing the water attacks Cleo shares her interest in the rock with Ryan, a young geophysicist who works for Sam in the National Parks Authority. Rikki doesn‟t respond well to Cleo consulting a stranger about Mako‟s secrets and a rift begins to develop between the girls. Ryan loans Cleo some equipment and she continues her experiments defying Rikki‟s warning and further straining the bond between them. She‟s stunned when Ryan confirms the rock‟s unusual properties appear to indicate it is identical with the rocks found on the moon. Rikki begins to spend more time alone in the Moon Pool and finds her powers have developed a surprising new ability in the cavern. Bella and Cleo are shocked when they learn from Will the truth of what occurred with Rikki on the full moon, while Ryan is now very interested to learn more about the rock from Mako Island.
18 INTO THE LIGHT Directed by Colin Budds Written by Sam Carroll
The fracture between the girls deepens as Rikki continues to spend more time hiding out on her own at Mako Island. When she finds Ryan conducting tests on Mako Island to try to locate the source of the unusual rock, she returns to Cleo and Bella to seek their aid to stop him. They‟re doubtful of her claim about Ryan and are hurt from the secret she chose to hide from them. Rikki finds herself on her own and when she discovers Sophie‟s having secret sponsorship meetings with Zane she‟s pushed to the edge. But Rikki‟s proven right about Ryan and Will is forced to stop her going too far using her new powers to defend the Moon Pool from him. Ryan flees, unsure of the source of the strange phenomenon he encountered in the cavern. The incident awakens Rikki to realise she‟s gone too far and she reconciles with Will and the girls.
19 BREAKAWAY Directed by Colin Budds Written by Anthony Morris
It‟s the day of the Gold Coast Free Diving Championship and Will‟s attempt at setting a new record. Sophie‟s excited but Will is unfazed. It‟s very apparent that Sophie‟s ambitions for Will‟s success are the main force driving him. Bella quietly encourages Will to find his own reason and to rediscover his attraction to free-diving for the event. But after breaking the record and winning the competition, Will chooses to shrug off his sister‟s influence in his life and not pursue any further competitions.
Finding being around Zane awkward Rikki reluctantly goes to the Marine Park with Cleo for a change of air. A simple job to assist her brings Rikki to interact with Ronnie the dolphin and brighten her outlook. The girls discretely attend the championship as mermaids to cheer Will on, but when Rikki sees Sophie kissing Zane in the celebrations she breaks off her relationship with Zane permanently.

20 QUEEN FOR A DAY Directed by Colin Budds Written by Samantha Strauss
With Rikki departed from the cafe, Zane rehires Sophie to replace her and she immediately asserts her new authority changing staff as well as the decor of the cafe. Kim gets a job in the new regime which she relishes and begins to mimic her mentor Sophie at work and home, driving Cleo mad. Sophie‟s changes coincide with an allergic reaction in Bella that sets her mermaid powers off involuntarily and inhibits her singing in the band. Will and Rikki attempt to solve the mysterious cause of Bella‟s unusual ailment while Sophie threatens to replace the band in the cafe if Bella can‟t perform. Meanwhile, Cleo‟s encouraged to step in for Bella as lead singer under Nate‟s keen tutorage. Rikki finds the surprise solution to Bella‟s problem and confronts the uneasy situation with Zane and Sophie reclaiming her freedom to attend the cafe and return for the band‟s big gig.
21 THE JEWEL THIEF Directed by Colin Budds Written by Simon Butters
Will presents Rikki with her own necklace made from the crystal they discovered in the Mako rock. The entire group make a startling discovery when Cleo notices an attraction between Rikki and Bella‟s crystals. Experimenting further the girls find when they touch them together an immense energy is released which creates a power surge in Cleo‟s home and disrupts an important program for Don on the TV! Will notes the girls‟ reactions to the surge and it appears they retain energy from the full moon. Inspired, Cleo successfully leads the girls to find another crystal in the wall of the Moon Pool. In an effort to regain Rikki‟s attention, Zane steals the new necklace. Rikki confronts Zane who‟s desperate to retain their relationship. When Rikki isn‟t interested and Zane becomes unreasonable, Cleo and Bella are forced to use the power of the crystals to recover Rikki‟s necklace. In the process, Sophie comes perilously close to recognising the crystals‟ magic.

22 MAKO MASTERS Directed by Colin Budds Written by Philip Dalkin
Rikki, Cleo and Bella sit their final exams, which happen to coincide with the full moon. While Cleo‟s aware of the full moon effect, she is intent on excelling in her subjects. She‟s thrown in a spin when the girls realise the moon will rise early and they‟re all astonished when this time water attacks them in public in the exam room! Will helps the girls conceal and escape the water attack and in the commotion the exam is suspended. Rikki convinces Cleo and Bella they should trust the water force at Mako Island and face it directly. They do and when the moon reaches its zenith over the cupola in the Moon Pool they‟re presented with a message that appears to relate to them the formation of their special island from a comet. Zane and Will arrive Zane eager to atone after the trouble he caused on the last full moon but both are rebuked by the girls when they interrupt the precious message. The next day the girls complete their exam and excel. But Cleo‟s still uncertain if the message they saw was complete...
23 BEACH PARTY Directed by Colin Budds Written by Anthony Morris
Bella‟s hoping Will will invite her to the end of year party but when he turns to Rikki for advice as to how to approach Bella, Bella comes to the conclusion Will‟s interested in Rikki instead. Out of annoyance and desperation she asks Nate to the dance. Will feels he‟s missed his chance and he and Rikki decide to go as friends.
Zane too gets the wrong impression when he asks to accompany Rikki to the party to mend their rift. He jumps to the conclusion she‟s got another date. Sophie does her best to inflame the situation so Zane will recognise her own interest in him. At the party, tempers flare as everyone continues to leap to the wrong assumptions about their dates. Zane arrives and is incensed to see Rikki with Will and picks a fight with him. In the confrontation, fists fly, drinks are spilled and Bella rushes out. Will finally admits his feelings for Bella and in the twilight shadows away from the main party, they finally kiss.

24 TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT Directed by Colin Budds Written by Max Dann
Wanting to take his family on a holiday, Don begins a second job at the Marine Park where he rapidly gains a fan following with the tourist children as „Cap‟n Don‟ on the Pirate Ship. Cleo attempts to curb Cap‟n Don‟s enthusiasm but gets into trouble when she‟s thrown overboard during his show and narrowly escapes being seen as a mermaid. Don chooses to step back when he realises his popularity is threatening Cleo‟s Dolphin show and her job. Cleo‟s touched and he leaves her with a suggestion to vamp up her own show! Now an item, Bella and Will look to involve themselves further in each others‟ interests. But in their efforts, Will‟s musical comments get him banned from band rehearsals, while Bella accidentally breaks Will‟s best fossil! They have their first argument and recognise perhaps they aren‟t very compatible until they realise the best connection they share is with the sea.
25 A DATE WITH DESTINY Directed by Colin Budds Written by Chris Roache
The mermaids discover fish have fled the waters around Mako Island and the water in their Moon Pool appears to be warming up. The unusual changes lead Cleo to reinvestigate the cavern and Rikki senses an unsettling energy in the cave. Meanwhile, Sophie meets Ryan whose interest in Mako Island is reawakened after he‟s sent there by Sam to investigate the changes in the environment and he notices the unique crystals in the necklaces the girls wear. The pair connect, Ryan feeling an important scientific discovery is near and Sophie recognising the potential to profit from the valuable crystals. Sophie uses Ryan to convince Zane to use the last of his money to help them locate the source of the crystals. At home, Cleo‟s stunned to learn from Sam that the absence of fish in the waters may be due to a passing comet. The girls regroup in the Moon Pool and using the power of their own crystals restart the message they saw on the last full moon to discover its full purpose as a warning of a collision by the comet.
26 GRADUATION Directed by Colin Budds Written by Joss King
While the world celebrates the spectacle of the rare comet, Cleo, Rikki and Bella know it‟s destined to strike earth and set out to stop it. Bella locates an ancient tale from when the comet last passed about how a tower of light shot from the earth, touched the comet and saved them from cataclysm. On hearing that a young girl named Eva was responsible for the light, the girls realise the tentacle‟s potential. Meanwhile, in an effort to recover more unique crystals, Sophie and Ryan damage the Moon Pool‟s ability to create the magical energy the mermaids need. The girls combine their powers to create their own tower of light and risk everything in an attempt to direct it toward the comet. They succeed and prevent a collision, saving everybody and fulfilling their destiny as mermaids. Later, Rikki, Cleo and Bella graduate from school to enter a new phase of their lives, forever bound by the sea and their shared secret.
