Imagine...

Date: October 31, 1981
What do u think would have happened if Jacob had followed Lily into Harry's bedroom, and placed himself between his wife and son, and Voldemort?
Do u think the agent lovey-magic-thingey would have shielded both Harry and Lily, of would there be no change?
And if it DID work, how do u think this would have effected the rest of the story? (concidering Severus...)

Yes, I think the love-shield would have protected Lily and Harry. I think they both would have gone into hiding, Harry would have known all about being a wizard and he would not have been so neglected.

Other than that, I don't think the story would have changed much. He still would need to defeat Voldemort, he'd still be sorted into Gryffindor, he'd still be famous.
