The scene opens with Memphis Christian practicing. Alice is at Memphis Christian and she is videotaping the rehearsal. A security guard catches her but she plays the innocent girl and tells that she is just admiring the cheerleaders. The security guard buys into it and lets her go without getting into trouble. The cheerleaders watch the video tape and Coach Lodge tells that the team has to practice hard if they are going to be able to able to make her video amazing.

The scene opens with the cheerleaders practicing. The volleybal team come in and starts to give them a hard time and one of the players throws a ball to Alice, who is at the top, boven of the pyramid. She falls down and asks who threw it. Coach Lodge threatens to file a grievance and the volleybal player tells that it was an accident. The two argue and the volleybal player tells that cheerleaders are only the football players’ groupies. Alice tells that they can jump higher, run faster and do everything else better then them. This had to be one of my favoriete episodes of Hellcats to date. Despite the fact that there was absolutely NO DAN PATCH whatsoever.

I think what made me love this episode most was the humanization of Alice and Jake. Every week they are presented like backstabbing, manipulative jerks, but this episode they really changed. Sure, we've seen glimpses of Alice's heart, but this episode really got me.

When Jake finally agreed to announcing that Travis was innocent, Alice was door his side the whole time. Admittedly, this was kind of weird. Usually she acts like she's just using him for social status...
