I don't want arguments here but, I think people should ship whatever they want.
Some people prefer the Hetalia pairings to be shipped as people, some history may offend others.
A lot of people are tired of seeing pairing bashing all over the place.
Those who ship characters because of the history, I do not mind if you ship it for the history but please do not bash those who ship characters as people. (Like they look good together, etc.)
Just please don't bash.
Ahem, now, onto the other fandom I'm in.

If you are shipping them as people, then you are just turning the characters into OCs, something they are not. They are not people, they are the countries. That is a heck of a lot more offensive then using them as what they really are, the countries. So stop using stupid headcanons that screws up the series and characters. I find it a lot more offensive when you don't use history. It's insulting to the countries if you don't care enough to think about it. How can people find their history offensive? That is stupid as heck.

There is no sense in shipping to countries that have no history or good history. That is more insulting then anything. Would it make sense to support America with Cuba? Or S.Korea with N.Korea? God no! And turning them into people isn't any better. Heck, even more insulting that way.

It makes me sick when this side of the fandom doesn't care enough about history to even look before they ship. If you actually got out of your stupid headcanons and stopped turning the characters into your on OCs, and actually READ history. maybe you'd actually understand Hetalia more, get more respect for it, the pairings, and the characters.

Did you know Himaryua encourages the fans to make headcanons, ocs, pair whoever with whoever and other fan made things? I think you don't know that. It seems like youre not allowing the fandom to things that they enjoy doing.
I find it offensive when someone pairs England or France with a native version of America or Canada. I'm not listing my reasons or else I would get carried away. :I

If you are changing the characters into humans, something they are not, then yes you are making them OCs. Not using canon reasons and history is insulting. Not only the countrise, but the series. It's pointless and stupid to only 'love' something for looks. It shows how shallow the world is now.

If you had any respect for the countries, characters, and the series. You wouldn't do those things. ANy fan should know that. It's not right, and it's actually pretty rude. Makes you look like you don't respect the characters for how they were created.

UsUk and Franada are insulting, because the countries don't have good relationships. And in Hetalia the relationships are clearly just family. I find it insulting when people pair America with countries that doesn't have a good relationship with them.

I do not want to argue with you anymore, well I never wanted to argue but all I'm doing is defending the fans who ship whatever. Most of the fans who ship crack and non-historical pairings are not weebs at all, heck they even respect the country and do research. (Well those fans are mainly on tumblr, multifandom side of youtube, and pixiv)

Hey, I ship IceLiech, its my otp for hetalia. Its not yaoi. They dont have history together. Some people actually respect history, and they ship crack pairings in Hetalia. I dont think calling a bunch of fans shallow is nice.

I don't like staying in the fandom because half of it judge and are rude to others for their own opinion, but I'm staying in it for my friends who I've become friends with from doing fandom things, like making headcanons, rping, fanfic writing, etc.

I've seen a number of fans who give death threats to someone else, anouther actual being, because you they joked about a fictional character. Honestly, which one is more important? Well,personally I would prefer if the countries i'm shipping have some relation with each other in history instead of having absolutely nothing to do with the other but I have nothing against people who ship crack pairings or the crack pairings themselves. Pairings don't HAVE to be accurate for people to ship them.

I prefer them to have some historical or canonical backing, but I'll admit I do like some kind of cracky ships. And besides, everyone should be allowed to ship whatever they want. It's just for fun, right?

Toast: You still don't realize the characters are countries do you? With real life history, without Hetalia or the characters you are shipping wouldn't be there.

Green: If we're insane just because we don't want to shop for 'fun' which clearly means for eye candy and fanfictions, then I'll happily be insane if it means not insulting Himaruya or the actually countries by shipping them accurately and not just because they are 'cute/hot' or for the heck out it.

PQ: You're not insane for your opinion. What's insane is when people can't let OTHERS have an opinion. Also, I don't know how much good it will do since I've seen others point this out to you already, but Himaruya himself stated that he enjoys people having fun and pairing what they like in the fandom, so you're not insulting him by doing so. In fact, it's probably more insulting to him if you try to stop it. As for the coutnries, yeah, I can see your point, but you ship HongIce, so you can't tell anyone that they can't ship something for fun or because it's cute. There's plenty of historically accurate pairings for both of them. It's better to pair them with no history than bad history.

Green: I don't ship HongIce actually, so that ends that statement. And frankly, I see no difference between no history and bad history, either way insulting.
