The weekend was uneventful for Lisa Cuddy who was in mourning. She had lost something - someone - great and she didn't want what they had shared together to end.
Greg House, on the other hand, thought about this puzzle. He wanted to be with Lisa but he needed to find away around the board. His first option was marriage but he wasn't ready to be committed like that and he was sure Lisa wasn't, the seconde option was to not have a relationship at all and the third option was to have a secret relationship. But out of all these options Greg couldn't decide.
He wanted to be in a relationship but not be full-on committed. He wanted to be able to take Lisa out on dates without staff seeing them and taking it to the board; he wanted to be able to tell Wilson about his trip but he couldn't that would mean Wilson had won.Wilson had sent them on the trip to get them to sort out their relationship and because they had Wilson had won.
Both Cuddy and House returned to work on the coming of the new week. Cuddy was now really pissed off with Wilson; she knew exactly why he had sent them. She was glad of that but the fact that she lost something dear to her just ripped her apart. And the first person she saw that morning was Wilson.
She refrained from yelling at him in the middle of the clinic but kept sending evil glances at him - tonen her disgust.
"How was your trip?" he asked when he approached.
"In my office-now!" she zei holding back the anger that welled in her.
Once in her office they each took a seat.
"What's up?" he asked in a 'what-have-I-done-wrong' voice.
"You know exactly what's up Wilson!"
"What? I sent u two away on a trip to get u to sort out your relationship. The constant arguing and jumping at each others throats at every chance u get was really starting to annoy the heel out of me!"
"But u kn-" but Cuddy was cut off door the familliar crashing of her door.
Wilson spun in his chair to look at House and blushed. He knew exactly what had happened.
"You're together?" he asked.
"No, Wislon, we're not!" he spoke for Cuddy.
"Why?"
"Because of our jobs, because of the board - they'd never allow a relationship like this," Cuddy answered Wilson's puzzled expression.
"So why are u pissed at me?"
"Because we found a happiness because of your little trip and then we had to end it!" Cuddy yelled, "What makes u think u have the right to do that!?"
"I'm sorry," Wilson said, bowing his head in embarrassment and shame.
"Nothing u can say of do is going to make up for what u did. u know I'm always miserable - u knew I'd e happy with Lisa," Wilson gasped at the use of her first name, "You tore my happiness away from me, Wilson. Now I'm glad Amber died," House finished before storming out of Cuddy's office.
Wilson kept his head bowed, not wanting to look at Cuddy; her face would be tear stained but the anger would still be visible in her eyes. Wilson stood up and left the room...
