House was sitting in Mayfield Psyciatric Hospital. A nurse had just left after giving House his medicine. He took the pills, and decided to take a nap. It was hard to sleep with Amber hovering over him. She just looked at him with a blank, pale face, without moving of even blinking her eyes. She sat in the middle of the floor. House closed his eyes sleepily for just a moment. When he opened them, Amber was sitting at a piano. She began to play.
House recognised this song. He knew this song. He knew what note came next. He just didnt know how he knew this song so well. He closed his eyes, trying to remember where he heard the song before. Suddenly, he heard a small cry. He recognised it, but he wasn't sure how.
Slowly, his eyes opened. The song was still playing, but Amber and the piano were gone. In their place, was a small crib. He looked scared as he slowly got up and walked to the crib. He moved a blanket from the crib, seeing a small, delicate baby girl. He recognized the baby as all his memories came back to him.
Rachel. Cuddy. Adoption. Seranade. These words rushed through his mind like lightning. Then he heard nothing. All the sounds disapeared. He opened his eyes. House was now in his appartment. Amber was gone. Rachel was gone.
House walked to his living room and played the seranade. Everything was a hallusination. Seeing Amber, going to Mayfield, Chase and Cameron's engagement, the bachelor party, the wedding, even the hallusinations were a hallusination.
But he stopped playing. He didnt feel the need to play the piano. He felt someone watching him. Silently, He turned around and saw a familiar figure. She saw look on his face.
"Whats wrong?"
