Not so subtle compliments. Almost cuddling on Cuddy’s office sofa whilst watching “home-movies”. Gentle caressing of the face in the middle of the hospital hallways.
It just makes u wonder doesn’t it? What on earth is going on between House and Cuddy right now?
And true some people may argue that it is the effect of House’s new psychiatrist sessions but just because that’s not a cool point to argue (and also because it doesn’t make sense timeline wise seeing as he only saw his psych once later after most of this had happened), I’ll be advocating for the point that yup, they’ve already started sleeping together.
Stop rolling your eyes right now people (bb that means you!) and give me a chance to argue my points. Okay, so the build-up first. Over the past couple of weeks (months?!) we’ve gotten spoilers saying that House and Cuddy are going to sleep together, bury the hatchet, have hands on training with the birds and the bees, copulate (had to throw in a smart sounding word) and just generally do the dirty in the bedroom and ever since their kiss there has been a steady rise in the tension between them.
But then as of 5x17, “The Social Contract” onwards, we suddenly stopped getting the large number of tension-filled and sexy-as-hell Huddy scenes we had been spoiled with week after week with before and yet something lingered. And no I don’t mean the smell of satisfaction, IF u know what I mean. of maybe I do.
Here’s the “evidence” I have for my point that they have in fact already started doing the deed. (Gosh how many more euphemisms for sex do u think I can come up with?)
Evidence #1 – The Compliment
Cuddy: So…this was your way of telling me I look good today?
House: And you’re telling me u don’t get the slightest kick out of that?
Cuddy: Don’t be ridiculous House.
House: *walks away*
Cuddy: *smiles and blushes*
Wait a second. Did House just admit to complimenting Cuddy? Did Cuddy actually blush? Was none of that in the least bit awkward? Has the world gone mad?!
Yes. Yes. Yes. No.
It’s simple really. House and Cuddy seem much meer comfortable around each other. There’s no longer a sense of awkwardness that can’t be shaken away. House seems meer open about expressing himself (albeit through using a patient but still it’s a step!) and what he thinks about Cuddy and as for Cuddy herself, well doesn’t she just think it’s the cutest darn thing ever! Remember the blush people, the blush.
And to what would we owe such a sudden (and may I say pretty drastic) change in their relationship? I don’t know about u guys but I’ve heard stress balls don’t really work for some people. Other kinds of balls for relieving stress have been zei to be pretty helpful though. Am I getting too dirty right now? Okay I’ll stop.
But u know I meant sex right? Okay, then we’re good.
Evidence #2 – The Wannabe Cuddling
Aha! Could she really have been sitting any closer? If u ask me she should have just sat on his lap instead of having that millimetre of space in between them. Much less subtle but works even better for us and for Mr Happy. (Okay, seriously I’ll stop…But u know I meant House’s p-….HEH, thought I was actually going to say it didn’t you?)
So, another scene that oozed (exploded?) with comfortableness and a whole new dynamic between them. We aren’t used to a House and Cuddy that watch home-movies (even if they’re connected to the case) together. I mean the last time we saw such a scene was back in Season 4’s “Ugly” and even then they had the added disadvantage of sitting on separate wooden chairs. (IMPORTANT NOTE: Cuddy’s leg action in BOTH scenes was very hot and showy. Caution: These scenes are not for the weak hearted)
We have not seen enough of them on screen to warrant them looking so comfortable seated volgende to each other as such, especially after weeks of the prior awkwardness between them leading me to believe that things must have happened off screen. And door “things” I don’t mean the handing over of one case file from boss to employee. Of course I could take the boss and subordinate thing to another level…but I won’t…just because I’m starting to scare myself already and I don’t want this artikel to be rated NC-17. But I’m pretty sure I already put an image in your minds.
Oh and Cuddy so wanted to lick House’s lollipop. u could tell. And do I just mean the candy he was holding in his hand?
Probably not.
Evidence #3 – The Caressing of the Face AKA Feeling Up Moment #123456543.5
POTW: If she turns around she’s into him too..
Cuddy: *turns to look at House*
POTW: And there u have it
Well would u look at that. They’re not trying to even hide it anymore. Okay seriously, what was the most telling? The look of worry on Cuddy’s face? The way she so tenderly and gently touched (though I want to say stroked) House’s bruise? The way the POTW was able to discern that something was going on between them in literally less than 15 seconden of of of the way she LOOKED BACK. Hell yes.
Oh, I would say something about the Victorian corset and House’s mention of Cuddy coming over later to be “tied up” but that one’s just way too easy. (NOTE: Cuddy’s face after House says this. Is that a smirk? of a look of agreement that she will indeed be coming over tonight? Okay, probably the first option but still, it’s nice to speculate) Instead, I’ll give u a picture of zei Victorian corset and let your imagination run free. Just let me say two words: Teeth. Ripping. What can u imagine with THAT?
Moving on, the fact that Cuddy spoke about the POTW for all of 2 seconds, launched herself at House’s face (which sadly is not as hot as it sounds), sounded so worried about him and all in broad view of everyone in the hospital…I have to say this is not the Cuddy we know. This is not the emotionally-reserved-in-public DOM (Dean of Medicine of as I bet House likes to call her after hours Dominatrix) Cuddy that we have become accustomed to seeing. I have to say that I was really surprised at such an outward display of affection.
It’s all very telling I have to say.

Okay that’s the end of my “Hard Evidence” section. Now to verplaats on to the section I like to call “Not Strong Enough To Be Real Evidence But Pretty Damn Interesting All The Same” section. I probably need to shorten that. Ready? Got everything? Need anything? A cold douche maybe? Okay, no? Let’s continue!
What I Like To Call Evidence #1 – House’s bed of Should I Say “House and Cuddy’s” Bed?
Alright, admit it. u weren’t focussing on the phone-call of the DDX going on in that scene in 5x18, “Here Kitty”. u were thinking about House rolling over in his bed and Cuddy being on the other side. Don’t deny it people.
It is odd I must say that every other time we have seen House in his bed we have been able to see the whole bed and yet this time, in the midst of all this suspicion, adding fuel to the already raging hot inferno (and I don’t mean the one going on in House’s pants), we only see House and never even the smallest glimpse of the other side.
Coincidence? I think NOT.
What I Like To Call Evidence #2 – House Singing. SINGING.
May I draw your attention to the last time we saw House singing when he came into the DDX room. Have your minds already gone there? For those of u who have no clue what I’m talking about let me refresh your memory.
Season 2. Stacy. House’s bed. Naked.
They had sex. Live with it Hacy haters. No they weren’t just lying volgende to each other whilst not wearing any clothes. Is that even legal?
And then after that House came into the DDX room singing. Which brings us back to the present.
Same room. Same guy. Same singing. Different woman.
Looks like a pretty solid case to me.
I meant Cuddy door the way.
What I Like To Call Evidence #3 – House Seeing A Psychiatrist
So…this is a shocker. Probably not as much of a shocker as when we find out that House and Cuddy have already been sleeping together but don’t worry, if you’ve made it this far into the artikel (and I pat u back if u have!) you’ll be sufficiently prepared, but a shocker nonetheless.
House saw a psychiatrist. He wants to change for the better. Wants to maybe be able to become closer to another human being that is not Wilson? Cuddy perhaps? Yeah that was my guess too. Man u guys are good.
House is taking steps forward. Maybe something happened that made him realise this could really work if he gave it a shot. Maybe he, like was implied in 5X03, “Adverse Events”, wants someone to see he can be different.
I’m saying maybe a lot but really, I do believe this. Just a not-useful fact for u guys.
Plus Wilson implied that it was his feelings for Cuddy that made him see the psych. u can’t argue with THE Wilson. u just can’t. It’s a law in many states.

Right. So you’ve reached the end of my thoughts. I hope none of u are scarred for life. I would feel guilty, I really would. So, some of u may think this is all not in the least bit plausible and some of u might think that it...well…is plausible. But hey, it’s all in the good nature of discussion huh? That’s why fandom is so awesome.
All I know is that the “progression” we were getting with Huddy suddenly stopped and doesn’t seem to be moving vooruit, voorwaarts at all. And yet we know that they are going to make love (HEE. I had to use this one!) sometime this season. With only five episodes left this season and a whole host of other events that we have already been spoiled about that have to occur as well there’s really not a lot of time left and the fact that House could have already started having face to face conversations with the twins would really not only be convenient but would have the surprise factor that we’ve come to learn the writers love springing on us.
He held that for two whole seconds :P
I'll tell u a little bit about myself first. No offense to hamerons, but i have always been a outright HUDDY fan.So I am obviously bouncing off the walls. When this seaseon starts, I feel like everyone has kind of abandoned House. I mean I get the whole pain in the a$$ thing but still. Wilson is the one that fixes everthing and for him to basically laugh at him when he apologizes is cruel. THe bright light at the end of the tunnel is Cuddy is going to do whatever it takes to make House happy above anyone else.
