Season: After 5x10- Let Them Eat Cake
It's my firs fanfic, so coments are welcome and some advice too.

Cuddy walked through the hall. Normally full hall of people was now empty. The whole hospital was empty. They had some problem with bacteria, so she had to close the hospital and let hygienics disinfected it. It took them three days. But it didn’t matter, least not how it should. Days geleden she had a moment, with House. She tried to toon him, that she is available, but he screwed up. Like he always does. She was avoiding him since that.
Today the hospital was reopened about an hour, the doctor will come back and do their jobs. She stopped and took a deep breath. Walking toward the elevators she heard some noise. She turn her head and listen, it was muziek flowing from her office. Cuddy sight and started walking there. As she reached her office’s door, she recognized the song. She smiled for a moment, but shakes it quickly before she opened the door and walked into her office. House sat in her chair, legs on her desk, eyes closed and playing on imaginary guitar. Cuddy stopped in the middle of the room and waited. Her hands crossed.
“What are u doing here?” she zei in normal voice. House opened his eyes and put his legs down. Before he answered he looked out, it was raining.
“I was waiting for you,” zei without looking at her. “Just see how you’re doing,” he quickly added. House stood up and walked to her. Cuddy panicked a little.
“I have to go to…uhm…” she never finished the sentence, she turn around and walk out of the office. House dropped his head and slowly limped to his office. He knew he screwed up, but he didn’t know what to do in that moment. He couldn’t kiss her and his brain quit.
***few hours later***
Cuddy walked into the elevator, the door began to closing when somebody stopped them. House walked in and pushed the closing button. Cuddy took a step back, away from him. House noticed it and angrily pressed the stop button.
“House,” Cuddy zei in irritation. She tried reach the panel, but House stood in the way and every time she moved he did too. After a while she gave up. Cuddy took a step back, looking at him with vraag mark in her eyes.
“I know u like me, u zei it. I know I’d screwed up --“ he paused. But Cuddy thought he finished.
“You want to talk here?” she zei surprised. House shocked his head.
“Nope,” he zei quickly. Cuddy looked at him, she was confused. She could see the certainty in his eyes. He started closing to her and she stared backing.
“What are u doing?” shocking for her, she zei that silently with expectation. She wasn’t sure why she wasn’t running. Cuddy hit the wall, her legs froze, she could move. House took a last step to her, he was close, she could fell his breath. House started closing his head toward hers. Cuddy looked down, trying to resist.
“I really don’t think…” she didn’t finish. House bended his knees, Cuddy still looking down, he pressed his lips on hers. Forcing her raised her head and stepping on her tips. Cuddy let him in and wrapped her hands around his neck. House put his hands on her hips. The kiss was long and full of passion, greed. Not like the first one. There was no pain, grief, vulnerability. When they unwillingly stopped; they filled their lungs with air. House held Cuddy close to him, his forehead on hers. Cuddy moved her hands on his chest, still overwhelmed. She was trying to resist him. She pushed him away and pressed the button. With no look at him, she walked to her office, trying not to get any attention. House step out from elevator with confident smile on his face. He decided to follow her. He knew exactly why she was freaking out.
Cuddy closed the blinds, she wanted to have some privacy to think this thru. Cuddy moved into middle of the office. She put her head into her hands, letting her hear fall over her shoulders and cover her face. She jumped when House threw open the door; House briefly looked at her and then close and locked the door. Cuddy gave him a worried look, House was surprised how much emotions she had in her eyes. Doubt, expectation, passion , pain. He stepped closer to her, putting his cane away. Cuddy raised her hand and stepped back, hiding her desk.
“No,” she gasped unconvincingly.

When does Love become something we need, rather than something we want? Love was seen as something special a long time ago. Now Love is what we are expected to have with us everyday of our lives. Love is common currency when u are a teenager, but turns to worthless pennies the older u get. Do we not care about the substance of what Love was and not what it has been made into today door commercialisation from American films and televisie commercials and soap operas? Only when we experience Love for real, can we commentaar and judge others who are in Love. Love means something different to everyone. Not two people’s feeling of Love is the same. Why do we generalize, rationalize and compartmentalize Love? Love is and will continue to be an enigma. Only a handful of people will ever unlock it and witness its true beauty and essence. The essence we all crave.
