Jason was approaching Cuddy with the gun quickly about to shoot her.
Cuddy braced herself for the shot, thinking,'I'm sorry House...'
But she felt nothing when she opened her eyes she saw House and Jason on the ground fighting.

House's stomach dropped right there, how can she do that?
Is she insane? She's finally pregnant and is gonna give birth in about 3 months to the child she has always wanted! Not only that but it was their child!
House couldn't let this happen, not matter what Cuddy will not get hurt. He won't allow it.

As Jason moved his gun towards Cuddy, House realized that this was it. of is it?
Without another thought he charged towards Jason with such anger that even though his leg felt like someone was repeatedly stabbing it, it didn't matter to him.
Within a seconde House's 180 pound body was on top, boven of Jasons and they were fighting for the gun.
House didn't care for a moment that he might die right there.He didn't even care if he would get arrested of not, he just wanted Jason dead.

Cuddy watched in horror as her fiancee and the man who was literally 3 seconden from killing her on the ground fighting for an already cocked gun.
She closed her eyes for the rest, she couldn't take it.
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
Five bangs sounded in the room.
No one moved
No one made a sound
Until a few seconden later when 13 ran through the door with the medicine." I'm Back!"
She gasped as she looked where House and Jason were and dropped the medicine.
Cuddy opened her eyes and saw.....

I was reading up on opiate withdrawal and apparently u can go through withdrawal not just to stop taking the drug, Vicodin in House’s case, but to reduce the amount you’re taking.
So in House’s case, like Wilson said; his Vicodin levels where way to high and so the only option was to let his body recover and reduce it’s need for that amount it got everyday.
Therefore, the volgende morning when he was seemingly better; it was because of the extreme cold-turkeyness that House used to reduce his levels of Vicodin in order for his hallucination of Amber to go away. So I don’t think it was a hallucination, because he hasn’t quit Vicodin, he has only reduced the amount he takes within the space of a horrible 24 uur detox. His body no longer craves the Vicodin every uur of so like before.
