The fact that we know that she is to get married to Lucas in the beginning of the last ep means that she breaks off the engagement and runs off with House in the end, right? Because it's only fair. That's what i think. It's only fucking fair to us.
Huddyislove and the rest of you: the present (the book) is an engagement present that House gives TO BOTH OF THEM, because he's known for a while and he congratulates her - "it's the adult thing to do". I'm sorry, but i'm not all that overjoyed here... How the hell did she just say yes to Lucas?????
Do you guys think that is the final scene of the episode? The first one, House alone, wounded, with the Vicodin?
Or do they show that, then go back "8 hours before", show the progression of events, then come again to the present moment and show something else?
Because if that is really the last thing we get to see, i'm gonna drop dead on the spot. I swear. I can't take it anymore.
Oh PLEASE, don't make him take Vicodin again... at least not addiction-like again.
:'( about the book and the engagement. I hope she breaks it off somehow. The best thing would be him at the wedding after the "...or forever remain silent." and he goes "I think I have to object."
I can imagine a final scene where a teary eyed Cuddy..alone..opens the book..looks at the signed page..her fingers move across his written words and down to carefully touch House's signature..and then her hand begins to tear out the page..the end, of course, signifying her choice. Although House doesn't know...and is about to overdose on pain and maybe vicodin...uugh.
Maybe I misunderstood but I thought House was just giving them something so he can still let her know that hes her friend and trying to be adult about everything. His way of letting her know hes changed but obviously is still making the effort in order to still have a chance with her. I dont think House knows Lucas has asked her to marry him. House picks up on something but I dont think he knows. Not until the end where he might finally unravel.
I don't want pity to be a factor in Cuddy reaching out to House, know what I mean? And I don't see House as the suicidal type. I fear the Writers have damaged a beautiful relationship by yanking it (and us) hither and thither.
Guys, I dont think Cuddy would EVER choose House out of pity. Thats not the way she is. It would be because she loves him and she does even if shes been suppressing for all this time. This is not jumping the shark. Just calm down.
Because we are scared out of our minds, wendus:(
We have forced ourselves to be very faithful to a story that, as beautiful as it is, has given us so little satisfaction. And we've had a really bad experience last year, that we still haven't got a payback for. And we all seem to be aware of the fact that Huddy has been dragged a bit, as a storyline, and something has to happen, quick, before it starts lacking credibility big time. And we are afraid that this major twist of things, the resolution, will not be in favor of our wounded Huddy hearts.
So we're scared and impatient and frustrated and all we can do is twist and turn every bit of info on all sides, oscillating between fear and pessimism and faith and optimism. Basically, freaking out:))))))
wendus92: Because "House" producers have been known to be, shall we say..."misleading" with their promos and spoilers, ESPECIALLY when it comes to season finales. (I seem to recall a certain hook-up that never actually happened...) We aren't being pessimistic, nor are we "prejudging" the episode that as you pointed out, we haven't seen yet. We are simply reacting as we have been coached to do: with skepticism and restraint. There isn't any point in being unrealistically optimistic; without a doubt, due to the nature os "House" and those behind the show, we will get burned...yet again. That approach is pure naivete.
Personally, having read the not-so-favorable spoilers, I am not expecting anything earth-shattering in favor of Huddy, nor do I expect the ship to sink. I am, as I said, "cautiously optimistic."
I cannot stop my heart from beating! Oh God!
O_o

This ship is getting better and better *__*

At 0:15 you can see 2 bottles of Vicodin... ;[ You've got to watch very carefully..

The ep looks great, BTW...

What does Cuddy say after House asks, "Trouble in Paradise?" (Just can't figure out her response...)
