The 3rd Annual DramaFever Awards took place in New York on Feb. 6 to honor international television, films and actors shown on DramaFever, the populair streaming service for global TV and film.
Kim Jong-kook (host of populair Korean variety toon Running Man), Seo Kang-joon (of Korean drama Sly and Single Again), and Yuki Furukawa (of Japanese drama Mischievous Kiss 2: Love in Tokyo) were on hand to receive their awards at New York's Hudson Theater at the Millennium Broadway Hotel that also brought out Fresh Off the boot ster Hudson Yang and SBS International CEO Yunjeung Jo. Meanwhile, newcomer K-pop boy band 5urprise -- who were created with the concept of being actors-turned-singers -- performed twice for the audience.
George Hu (the NYC-raised actor who starred in Chinese TV toon Prince of Lan Ling) and Arden Cho (of MTV's Teen wolf fame) hosted the ceremony. Billboard caught up the latter host, wearing an elegant sherry heuvel japon, jurk on the red carpet, to get Cho's five favoriete K-pop acts. While she at first jokingly whined that there were "soooo many," the starlet managed whittle it down to her top, boven faves.

I always thought she was cute in muziek videos, but once I saw her on Dream High I was like, 'This girl's not just a talented singer, she's a talented actress, she's beautiful.' Big fan."

"Ailee to me is just such a talented, powerful voice. She's sexy, she's beautiful. I'm a huge fan, I like her a lot. I really hope she keeps going at it. I really like her song 'I Will toon You.' To me, she has that Beyonce vibe. We don't have a lot of those big singers in Korea, so she excites me."

A netizen who recently graduated from IU's alma mater, Dong Duk Women's High School, recently uploaded foto's of the singer in the high school newspaper for her generosity!
The 'IU Scholarship' will be an annual scholarship funded door the singer each jaar beginning in 2016, and will consist of 5,000,000 KR₩ (approximately $4300) awarded to 4 students from underprivileged families. In addition to the newly established 'IU Scholarship', the singer also donated an amount of 10,000,000 KR₩ (approximately $8600) to go toward school improvement funds.

According to the reports, IU's titel track, "Twenty-Three," is currently on top, boven of the lijst while "The Shower," "New Shoes," and "Knee" followed closely, placing 2nd, 5th, and 6th place respectively.
In addition, "Zeze" and "Red Queen" was also spotted on the top, boven 10 lijst as 8th and 10th place respectively.

After performing her titel song "Twenty-three", IU shared, "Personally, I hate filming for muziek videos. It's such a hard thing to do. Filming for commercials is difficult, but there's a goal there. The point is to sell a lot of a product. However, an MV is just for me, which makes it hard."
She added, "This MV was the first time I had fun filming... It was really fun. It ended with one shot."

Dispatch just reported that IU and indie band member Chang Kiha are in a relationship, and it's been officially confirmed door IU's agency that the two are indeed an item!
