Known for writing hit songs for EXO, VIXX, John Park, and Lee Hi, Dean talks about juggling songwriting demands with pursuing his own singing career. “Rather than songwriting, I am focusing on my activities as an artist,” Dean says. MC Yoo Hee Yeol responds, “So is that why u rejected my [songwriting] request?”
Dean chooses IU as an artist he hopes to write a song for some day. “You know how people love it when elephants do a trick wit their trunk? Well that’s not what the elephants intended. I think IU is like that,” Dean says, as the audience laughs at the farfetched analogy.
He also sends a video letter to IU saying, “I have a song I have written just for you.”
