'iZombie' Books 'Veronica Mars' Alum for Recurring Role (Exclusive)

The casting reunites Enrico Colantoni with 'Veronica Mars' and 'iZombie' EP Rob Thomas.

Colantoni, who played private eye (and Veronica's dad) Keith Mars on Rob Thomas' cult series, will take on the recurring role of Lou Benedetto, a vice detective whose cases overlap with Liv’s (Rose McIver) personal and professional life. He begins filming this week and will appear in episodes 14 and 17.
