LUCAS: I slowly but very gently take her in my arms, and I bring her in real close like this. Wow. Last time we kissed, it was so damn good, I collapsed. I'm joking.

PEYTON: I've been holding in my feelings because I'm in love with him.
HALEY: Which makes no sense whatsoever.
PEYTON: Well, it does to me. The last time Lucas and I kissed, like, really kissed, he had a hart-, hart attack, and he almost died. I'm bad luck.
HALEY: Oh, shut up. u are not.
PEYTON: Yeah, I am. Think about every person I've gotten close to-- my mom, Jake, Ellie, Derek. Where are they all now? Even my dad works a thousand miles away.
HALEY: Peyton, there's one thing that you're not considering in all of this.
PEYTON: What's that?
HALEY: None of those people are Lucas.

PEYTON: I want to kiss you, Luke. I do. I just don't want to lose you.
LUCAS: Hey, what makes u think you're gonna lose me?
PEYTON: Only the fact that I lose everyone I care about. Anytime I open up to someone, they walk out of my life, of they die. of they verplaats away of they get shipped off to Iraq of they turn into frickin' Norman Bates or...
LUCAS: Not everyone.
PEYTON: Look, the last time we kissed, u had a hart-, hart attack.
LUCAS: And I didn't die. I couldn't die. Do u know why? Because I had to come back and look into those green eyes of yours and tell u I love you. I do. I love you, Peyton. u didn't push me away. I came back for you. No matter how long it takes, I'll wait for you.

LUCAS: I've been waiting for you.
PEYTON: I think we've waited long enough.

LUCAS (V.O.): Sometimes pain becomes such a huge part of your life that u expect it to always be there, because u can't remember a time in your life when it wasn't. But then one dag u feel something else, something that feels wrong, only because it's so unfamiliar. And in that moment u realize you're happy.

TEACHER: Passing notes, Mr. Scott? How about we share this with the class?
LUCAS: Be happy to. It just says that... "Peyton, u look amazing. And I can't wait till class is over so I can look at those green eyes and kiss your perfect lips."

TEACHER: Oh, young love. At least you'll be together in detention.
PEYTON: So worth it.

LUCAS: That was pretty awesome.
PEYTON: I know.
LUCAS: Kind of like your smile. Happy looks good on you.
PEYTON: Yeah? I feel like I'm living in an Air Supply song.
LUCAS: Well, u know, if we're gonna go '80s, I'm meer of a busje, van Halen fan.
PEYTON: No, it's just, everything's better now, u know, pinks are pinker and blues are bluer, and even my favourite foods taste yummier.
LUCAS: Yummier?
PEYTON: Yummier.

LUCAS: If anyone can make a chocolate-chip cookie taste better, I'm sure it's you.
PEYTON: u are so feeling the love!
LUCAS: Well, I'll share anything for a cookie.
PEYTON: Come with me.

LUCAS: So, u know, if we're both feeling the love, what are we doing in a cemetery?
PEYTON: There's somebody I want u to meet. Hi, mom. It's me. So, this is Lucas, the boy I've been telling u about. Look what he's done. He's got me smiling. Can u believe it?
LUCAS: Hey, Mrs. Sawyer. I just want u to know that Peyton's the best thing I have in my life. I wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for her.
PEYTON: Likewise.

KAREN: I almost didn't recognize u without Peyton attached to your hip.
LUCAS: Funny.
KAREN: Well, if it matters, I approve. u have had the biggest crush on her for years.
LUCAS: Mom, guys don't have crushes. Girls have crushes.
KAREN: Well, what do guys have? The hots?
LUCAS: The hots. Seriously, where do u come up with this stuff?

LUCAS: I just want to let it all go away, u know? I don't want to be like this anymore. How would u like to just be happy, hmm?
PEYTON: I thought you'd never ask.

LUCAS (to Peyton): Now, if u are going to be taking anything off, please, please, please, let me help you.

LUCAS (to Peyton): This is the best cookie I've ever had.

LUCAS: Happiness comes in many forms. In the company of good friends, in the feeling u get when u make someone else's dream come true, of in the promise of hope renewed. It's okay to let yourself be happy, because u never know how fleeting that happiness might be.

LUCAS: u remember Peyton, right?
GLENDA: Yeah, sure, the loner.
PEYTON: Loner cheerleader. I really liked the picture u took of Lucas. The eye shadow was a little Fall Out Boy, though.

PEYTON: Well, what about me? I’m…I can be impartial.
LUCAS: I don’t think so.
PEYTON: Why?
LUCAS: Because you’re in it.
PEYTON: Give me that book right now.

PEYTON: Pretty please with me on top?
LUCAS: Well, I can be persuaded.

PEYTON: Okay. No. Okay, stop, stop, stop. I don’t think so.
LUCAS: Okay, come on. I’ll let u read the first six chapters of my book.
PEYTON: That's very sexy, but I just want our first time to be special. And right now it's really not with Nationals' CD wedged underneath my back, which is a very good album, door the way.

PEYTON (to Brooke): u know I love him. I really do. But I never meant for my love for him to hurt you.

PEYTON: So, we were in the chapter where u take your girlfriend up to that empty bedroom at the party.
LUCAS: I think I may need to do a little research first.
PEYTON: I was hoping you'd say that.

LUCAS: I thought u zei u wanted to wait.
PEYTON: Do u remember what u zei the last time we were here? u zei u wanted it all, and I walked away. I made a big mistake that night 'cause all I wanted was sex.
LUCAS: What do u want now?
PEYTON: Now I want what u wanted. I want everything with you.

PEYTON: So, the first thing u did this morning was go see Brooke?
LUCAS: It was on the way.
PEYTON: u know what else is on the way? My front door. Shut it when u leave.

LUCAS: I like the red dress.
PEYTON: u would. It's Brooke's.
LUCAS: Why do u have it?
PEYTON: So she doesn't.
LUCAS: Okay, don't u think stealing Brooke's prom dress is going a little bit too far?
PEYTON: No, I think going a little too far is making your friend feel like a whore when you've done worse.
LUCAS: Didn't we kind of do the same thing to her?
PEYTON: We had sex? That's funny. I don't really remember. It must not have been very good.
LUCAS: Look, we didn’t have sex, but we did sneak around behind her back.
PEYTON: Do u ever actually defend the person you’re dating?

HALEY (to Lucas): You've got to let her know that you're there for her and that you're nothing like her ex-boyfriend.

LUCAS: I think you're gonna regret not going. I know I'll regret not going with you.
PEYTON: I just can't. I'm sorry.
LUCAS: Well, I really hope u change your mind, because I'm coming back later, and I'm picking u up. And if u open that door, I know you're gonna look beautiful. And then we're gonna have a great night. And if not, I guess I'm going alone.

NATHAN: Because u cared. That's who u are. u care about Lucas because u know he loves you, and u probably still care about me and Brooke because u know we love you, too. Just face it, Peyton. u care. So get dressed and go with Lucas. I'll see u there.

LUCAS: hallo Peyton, this isn’t right. You’re the one I wanna be with tonight, prom of not. So call me, okay? Please.

LUCAS: Okay u think that’s bad, Peyton wrote to me in my sophomore yearbook, “Peyton Sawyer.”
PEYTON: Come on! I didn’t even know u then.
LUCAS: u know how hard I worked to get my yearbook in front of her? And then she signs her damn name. I was crushed.

PEYTON: Lucas Scott, will u go to prom with me?
LUCAS: Absolutely.

PEYTON: Thanks for being so good to me this week, Luke, and to Brooke. It means everything.
LUCAS: I’d do anything for you.

PEYTON: Hey, u brought protection, right?
LUCAS: Have u met my father?
PEYTON: Oh, of course u did, sorry. Luke, I’m really glad we waited. Last jaar would have been just sex, and now I…I am so in love with you.
LUCAS: I love you, too, Peyton.

LUCAS: Hey, you. u okay? Wow, u look beautiful. u seem sad.
PEYTON: No, I’m not. It’s just… I really love you, Lucas, and it’s a big deal.
LUCAS: I love you, too, Peyton. I promise.

PEYTON: Excuse me. I have a boyfriend.
LUCAS: Really? Where is he?
PEYTON: Good question. I’ve been wondering that myself for two days.
LUCAS: Yeah, I guess I deserve that.
PEYTON: Makes a girl feel cheap. Give it up in Honey Grove and then poof! Vanishing boyfriend.
LUCAS: Poof?
PEYTON: Poof.

PEYTON: I applied for an internship at Sire Records a few months ago, before we were together. And I just found out I got it.
LUCAS: Oh, my God, that’s great.
PEYTON: It’s in Los Angeles.
LUCAS: Take it. u deserve it.
PEYTON: I don’t want to leave you.
LUCAS: I will be here when u get back. But u are destined for greatness Peyton, and we both know that. This is your first step. u can’t pass that up.
PEYTON: Are u sure?
LUCAS: Yeah. I’m so proud of you. Look, Peyton. u know I love you, right?
PEYTON: Yeah.
LUCAS: No matter what happens to either one of us, u will always be In my heart.

PEYTON: u know, I… I really do appreciate u being supportive about all of this, but a little bit of disappointment would be good for my ego.
LUCAS: I just want u to be happy, Peyton. u have some much magic in you. I don’t want to hold that back.
PEYTON: But everything’s okay?
LUCAS: I wish we’d never left that hotel room in Honey Grove because you’re prefect. And we’re prefect. And that night was prefect.
PEYTON: Well, saying that just earned u another one.
LUCAS: I gotta go back to the hospital.
PEYTON: Can I come with you?
LUCAS: Sure. Just, let me hold u for a couple meer minutes. That’s what’s gonna fix me.

PEYTON: Okay. Before u do, I think there’s something u should see. If u skip graduation, we’re all gonna skip with you. Remember what u told me about how much I’d regret it if I skipped prom? u were right. And I think your mom would want u to graduate with all your friends.

LUCAS: You’ve got to be kidding me, again?
PEYTON: I guess.
LUCAS: Doesn’t look like anything’s wrong. u sure it won’t start? Peyton?
PEYTON: Oh, the car’s fine. I was just feeling sentimental about the first time we spoke.
LUCAS: Feeling sentimental of avoiding packing for your trip to Los Angeles with Brooke tomorrow?
PEYTON: I don’t wanna go. I mean, I do wanna go. I’m just…I’m gonna miss you.

LUCAS: I don’t want u to go`
PEYTON: What?
LUCAS: I’m sorry, I just…I’ve been trying to put a good face on.. God, I love u so much, Peyton.
PEYTON: So u want me to stay?
LUCAS: Yeah.
PEYTON: Then I’ll stay.
LUCAS: No, u won’t. I just…I want u to stay, but I won’t let you. And do u know why? Because I’ve told u before, you’re destined for greatness and it starts tomorrow morning.
Peyton: It’s not gonna matter anyway, whether I stay of go, with us. Because I’m gonna love u forever, Lucas Scott.
