Gay people were born gay. It's not like a gay person is out of the blue just like "hmm, you know what, I think I'm going to start being attracted to the same sex now!" It's not a choice and no one on this earth (gay, straight, bi, etc) picks and chooses whom they're attracted to.

So by that logic, God intentionally created gay people and why would He hate His children? Although this all hinges on the belief that God is even real and not just something created by man's selfish, all-consuming fear of the unknown after death, or created to keep the patriarchy firmly in place. But that's a debate for another day, innit?

I don't believe in God, but I think if there was/is one, definitely not.

Basically what sarabeara said!

A lot of people say that God created everyone, and that if your LGBT then that's not how God made you or how He wants you to be. But if He created everyone, then why would he create people who are attracted to the same sex or identify as the opposite gender to what they were born as if that isn't how God intends them to be. As Saraheara said, we are all the children of God in the eyes of many religions. Why would someone bye their own children?

^ Same as you, Harpaw.

And, no, God doesn't hate them. I'll never understand how people think using their views to speak hate is ever acceptable.

I believe God made every individual unique in their own way and he would accept people no matter what their race, gender, sexual orientation and beliefs . If God was a stranger on a bus he would say something like " please do not be ashamed because I will love you just the same. Always know I'm on your side.

Of course not! According to Gospel, God is Love! We are ALL God's Children: gay, straight, lesbian, bi, trans etc. He doesn't hate His Children at all! The question should go: 'Do certain religions hate LGBT people?' Unfortunately, the answer to that question would have to be Yes, for some religions do teach us to actually hate people who are different in any way. I'm not talking just about Islam now, because even the Christianity & Hinduism are strongly against people who are not straight. As we all know, God & religion are NEVER one & the same!! Agreed? Besides, what ever happened to that Love Commandment given to us all by Lord Jesus Christ himself: 'Love thy neighbour as thou would thyself!'? Makes you think, doesn't it?

Of course not! The God I worship loves all children and if we're going to believe that God hates LGBTQ+ then we might as well believe God hates all people who eat shellfish, too. Get ready to go to hell Red Lobster! See how stupid that sounds? Besides when did God start teaching hate or said they hated anything? Makes no sense!

It's propaganda by close-minded religious people. And nothing more than that.
