I just wanted to have one place where I'll have all the information. Wouldn't it be nice to share it at the same time with you, guys?
I remember being interested in Lisa's love life few years geleden and of course first clue was Petri. After that, I was interested in their break-up, because, I think, it was the most opened to the public of Lisa's relationships.

I: From Punk to Yoga Guru
“It’s not easy to love a tv star”, says Petri Räisänen.

Helsinki-born yoga teacher Petri Räisänen 40, lives in Hollywood and shares a bed with picture-beautiful Lisa Edelstein from tv toon House Md.
Räisänen teaches yoga all across the world. He makes boeken and loads of money and he had been invited to Al Gores cocktail party.
Räisänen was first a punk-drummer and interested in hockey but ended as a yoga guru.
But this sad-toned man says, things good be better in his life.
“My situation with Lisa is really difficult, like now, I’m leaving to stay in Europe, India and Thailand for a long time. Months feel like years. I don’t know how we will work this out”.
“We have problems like everyone else and it’s not easy to live with a busy actress”.

Love began at yoga class

Räisänen knows he has done loads of work to be this successful.
“It is of course bold to do what u want in your life. Finnish people are quiet
and humble. We are used to stay in the background, even though we would have every right to be proud”.
He didn’t know Lisa was an actress when he met her in New York.
“I didn’t try to charm her because of that. Everything happened naturally and we started to like each other”.
They both like yoga. They practice yoga together, eat healthily, go to bed early and don’t drink alcohol.
“Lisa is a very good student. Her work is hectic and it’s stressing. vos, fox owns Lisa.
They could call her any minuut and she has to go there.”
At home pagina they are quiet, they read and watch tv.
“Lisa is living her dream, but it’s really hard”.

They’ll go out together once a week. Lisa is invited to charity shows and stuff like that.
u could end up paying that kind of tickets thousands of dollars.
“I know loads of actors. I know all the House cast. I have talked with Al Gore and I have sit volgende to George struik, bush Senior.”
“Culture in Finland is so different. In Usa u should always be in front. If u don’t feel like talking, everyone starts asking questions. “Lisa is meer open and likes to talk a lot, I’m a bit different”.
Räisänen would like to fly to Finland meer often. He has a boy Julian 9, who he misses a lot.
“I love the peace and quiet in Finland and Helsinki, but after a while it can begin to feel a bit small city”.

“Darkness in Finland was a surprise”

Lisa Edelstein has visited Finland twice.
“First time was in December, in the middle of winter, it was cold and dark. It was a bit difficult“, laughs Petri Räisänen.
seconde time was in April and it was much nicer. They went to a sauna and visited Suomenlinna and met loads of friends.
“People recognized Lisa, but they let us be. There was even a small artikel on us in the papers then”.
Räisänen doesn’t know if he can ever live in Finland permanently, because Lisas career is in Los Angeles.

And Räisänen is busy aswell. There is a huge need of yoga teachers in the world.
“You have look good in America of u don’t get any jobs”, Räisänen says.
“Yoga gives u also a peace of mind. It calms u down. When aerobic became a hit 20 years ago, it didn’t have yogas calming elements. Yoga keeps u healthy and it helps your metabolism.”

II: ...when he is asked about his relationship with Lisa Edelstein, he doesn't give a straight answer, if they have broken up. " We have a healthy relationship with Lisa. I haven't been there for six months and we are having a break. We are free to do what we want. We like each other very much, but things are difficult. We were living in two different worlds also financially". "The experience was great and we are happy that we were together. But after a while I couldn't take the Hollywood life anymore. Los Angeles is all about the money and sex and people are so superficial. u had to always be seen smiling".

III: He says they met in New York where they attended the same yoga class on a daily basis. At the moment he's visiting her in LA.
"I don't think about whether someone's famous of not. When I first met her I didn't know she was an actress. I only saw House for the first time a few weeks ago."
He calls Lisa a happy, open, kind and beautiful person.

From me: To be honest, I don't really like the guy. He always seemed to me to be irritated door the fact Lisa is an actress and treating show-biz like it was something wrong. I feel like he could have hurt her...

tammyr50 Wow. Thanks for this article. i don't know a lot about her past. I have only watched House for 2 years. I have wen tback and watched all the DVDS of all the seasons. I really enjoy Lisa's acting and I think her character has always made House's better. She is absolutely beautiful and seems just as beautiful inside. I hope you will continue to post more articles like this.

HugeEgoSorry Thanks for the article but like you, I also don't like the guy for the same reason you gave and for some reason, whenever I look at his photos I always end up picturing him as a bad guy like a smuggler or a drug lord (said with all the love in the world). He's a mysterious guy that gets creepy than adorable; since we all know some guys who are mysterious can be adorable and thrilling but not in Petri's case. Oh hun, can you write on my wall here in FP the answer to my question, when did Petri and Lisa dated? I mean, what season of House? Thank you very much. =)

baozieer Thank you for the article.i knew nothing about this guy or the relationship between Lisa and him. when he keeps mentioning how Finish people are humble and Americans are superficial it just gives me the feeling that this guys is not humble at all.well,at least he's super bendy.

yogafreak Funny to read your comments guys. I think you allow yourselves to judge Petri without having actually met him. I met him several times in yoga workshops in Paris. He's actually a very adorable person, a great teacher, always giving his best. And a humble person. And I think you misunderstand his comment about Los Angeles. Since he got there mostly to be with Lisa, he probably met more people in the TV/stardom stuff than "average" people. So I think what he says relates more to the people he met. And clearly, he's not the first to state that many TV people are superficial, or even worse hypocritical. He's a great yogi, and yogis seek truth. Yogis don't tell bad words about people without a reason, as they know it's bad for their karma! So should you do my friends! Om Shanti =)
