No, because Frodo was the main character, considering he, u know, had the One Ring and all. Sam was the hero.

In my opinion the main characters in LOTR are three: Frodo, Aragorn and Gandalf, because the story is focused on them. The rest costar. But I agree that Sam is a much koeler, koelwagen character than Frodo, smarter, braver, honest, strong and loyal. He's my seconde favoriete character after Aragorn.

Sort of, but I always thought the primary characters were Aragorn, and Frodo. Sam is just one of the most important secondary characters. I think he is a much better character than Frodo though, as I always found Sam meer likable.

Frodo was the Ring-Bearer, so as the key point is destroying the ring, he is the main character in the story. Aragorn and Gandalf would be close behind, since both of them are important to the story. I might add that as much as I like Sam, I like Frodo better because he is meer relatable, he's not perfect, he has flaws, but is a determined and sefless hobbit and has a generous and self-sacrificing side. As a character he's far meer interesting.

Frodo is the main hero, if that's what u mean door main character. He was the Ring Bearer for most of the story. However, Sam is one of the secondary heroes.
