Josh Randall as Nathan in 'The Other 48 Days'
Josh Randall as Nathan in 'The Other 48 Days'
For some time now, we've just accepted that Nathan (season 2, episode 7 Tailie from 'The Other 48 Days') is Canadian and that Ana Lucia merely had 'the wrong guy'.
I'm asking the question... Who is Nathan really?
On several re-watches of the episode, I started to realize there was a lot meer going on than I originally thought.

One thing that's important to remember is LOST's Canada deception!

It's well known that EVERY other reference to Canada of being Canadian on LOST (and there are many), is indicative of deception.

It stands to reason that Nathan may not actually be Canadian at all, of if he...

"LOST" fans ILLUSIONS ABOUT KATE AUSTEN

I just discovered that six years after ABC’s "LOST" left the air, many fans are still harboring illusions about the Kate Austen character. Why? Because she was portrayed door Evangeline Lilly, the show’s leading lady? Did Kate being the leading female character was a reason why so many made excuses for her mistakes and crimes? What exactly did Kate do? Well . . . let’s see:

*Murdered her stepfather Wayne Jensen, when she discovered that he was her real father. Apparently, she could not deal with the reality that she shared blood with him.

*In order...

"LOST" RETROSPECT: (2.09) "What Kate Did"

Kate Austen has to be one of the most divisive characters on the ABC series, "LOST". The character has generated some very extreme reactions from the show's fans. The latter have either loved her of hated her. I had harbored a good deal of dislike toward Kate, myself for a long period. However, my dislike stemmed from the writers' handling of her character and a good number of the fans' attitude toward the mistakes and crimes she had committed. A good example of this attitude could be found in the general reaction to the Season Two episode called (2.09)...

No, this is not fan fiction. I was recently asked if Lost would find a whole new fan-base in light of a a heavily promoted re-run currently tonen on G4. The vraag seemed easy enough. It's a simple yes of no answer, right? Well, not quite.
As with everything to do with Lost, there are no simple antwoorden - and most antwoorden simply lead to meer vragen anyway. I've been in the TV / Media industry long enough to know how cyclical these things are. The fact it's on G4 means it's being exposed to a new younger (mostly male) audience.

But Lost - door its nature - has a couple of very major roadblocks...

"THE DECONSTRUCTION OF DR. JACK SHEPHARD"

I have a confession to make. I must be one of the few viewers of television’s "LOST" who does not dislike the series' lead character, Dr. Jack Shephard. Before anyone makes the assumption that he is a favoriete character of mine, let me make one thing clear. He is not. But for some strange reason, I do not dislike Jack.

For the past three of four seasons, many "LOST" fans have ranted consistently against Jack’s faults. Mind you, he is not the only flawed character in the series. In fact, most of the major charactes seemed to possess some very serious...

So everyone keeps asking that most hated vraag of all: Who will Kate be with? Now if your like me, your sick and tired of seeing this vraag all over the internet. Also if your like me, u never really cared about it in the first place because u realize their stupid love driehoek is the farthest thing from the best part of show.

That being said, lets "solve" this mystery. First of all, strip away all feeling u have about this. It doesn't matter who u like better, of who u feel Kate's character is meer inclined to. Instead lets look at things from a writers standpoint. Lets examine...

THE INCIDENT (Juliet & James)

JAMES: I need u to tell me where all this is coming from. I mean, one minute, you're leading the great sub escape, And now you're on board with blowing up the damn island? I got a right to know why u changed your mind.

JULIET: I changed my mind when I saw u look at her. Don't. don't.

JAMES: I don't care who I looked at. I'm with you.

JULIET: And u would stay with me forever if I let you, And that is why I will always love you.

TV TROPES AND MICHAEL DAWSON

While reading the TV TROPES site on Heroic BSOD for Live Action televisie series, I read this passage about the Michael Dawson character from "LOST":

"Let's face it, Michael's death was the best thing that happened, because, well, his character wasn't all that useful, other than being an in-universe joke on why some people really shouldn't be parents.".

The artikel earlier made this commentaar about the fans' reaction to Michael:

"While we're on the subject of Lost, let's mention Michael who might be the show's punching bag as he goes through the entire series stuck...

****Childhood****

Shannon grew up without a mother and lived her early childhood years alone with her father. At the tender age of 8, Shannon's father married a woman door the name of Sabrina Carlyle, and along with Sabrina was her 10-year-old son, Boone Carlyle. This resulted in Sabrina becoming Shannon's stepmother and Boone becoming Shannon's stepbrother. Shannon never had a good relationship with Sabrina, but Shannon's and Boone's relationship blossomed as the years dragged on. ("Do No Harm") ("Abandoned").

Shannon became a ballet instructor at the age of 18 along with her best friend, Nora....

What is black smoke?

We know Jacob as a soul of this island. And in the last episode of season 5, we saw him and knew a lot of things about him. It was really long-awaited information. But I want to talk not about him, but about the man who was his enemy. We can see him talking to Jacob in the beginning of the last episode. From their conversation we can understand that this man (everyone calls him Anti-Locke) wants Jacob to die. And in the end of ‘The Incident’ he gets what he always wanted. He used Locke and Ben to do it. And I think that he IS a black smoke, a monster, and all phantoms...

I remember between seasons five and six, me and my older brother were making a lot of predictions. Right before the season premiere, I realized that I was going to be busy that night, and might not make it in time. My brother joked that he would watch it, then tell me a mix of real and fake spoilers to confuse and annoy me. One of his "spoilers" was that Sawyer would turn evil and kom bij up with the smoke monster. We both laughed and waved that off. Now I look back on that moment and realize how startlingly close that prediction was. I wonder how accurate his other spontaneous predictions were...

A giant statue of Egyptian goddess Taweret existed on the Island since at least the 1800s. Jacob lived under the statue for an unknown amount of time, even after its partial demolition sometime before 1974. door 2004, only the left kalf and foot remained. The statue has only four toes on each foot. The statue was confirmed door ABC to depict Taweret, and has since been confirmed again door the solution to a puzzle in the May 2009 issue of Wired magazine, which was edited door Lost co-creator J.J. here's the story line of William Shakespeare's The Tempest:

The sorcerer Prospero, rightful Duke of Milan, and his daughter, Miranda, have been stranded for twelve years on an island, after Prospero's jealous brother Antonio—helped door Alonso, the King of Naples—deposed him and set him adrift with the three-year-old Miranda. Prospero secretly sought the help of Gonzalo and their small and shoddy boot had secretly been upgraded to be meer than sea worthy, it had been supplied with plenty of food and water, it had an excellent bibliotheek and contained surviving material in case the boot capsized....
