So you know how One Direction\'s Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne were snapped working on new music in the studio with Nickelback the other day? Well now the 5 Seconds of Summer boys might have been at it; \'cause they\'ve been hanging out with Chad Kroeger and co. too.

Yup - if you were anywhere near Twitter yesterday you may have seen a few of the 5SOSFam wondering why Ashton Irwin was listening to Nickelback pretty much back-to-back. The reason? \'Cause they were chillin\' out, maxin\', relaxin\' all cool with \'em...and all signs are pointing towards a writing session together.

Oh, Calum Hood will be pleased. You can literally see the kid internally fangirling.

Now we don\'t have many deets as yet, but basically Ash Instagrammed a snap of him, Calum and the Nickelback fellas yesterday sans caption, before plonking another on there later with loads of mysterious musical note emojis. INTERESTING. What we\'re taking from this is that One Direction, 5SOS and Nickelback are re-recording How You Remind Me off of 2001 and releasing it as a three-way collab. Think Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney\'s FourFiveSeconds but more...punk rock.
