She tells Showbiz411.com columnist Roger Friedman that she will record a song for an upcoming album, Save the Day, to generate fund for human rights issues. (She has to give birth to her twins with Nick kanon first.)
And the singer issued an official statement about the the performance:
"I was naïve and unaware of who I was booked to perform for. I feel horrible and embarrassed to have participated in this mess. Going forward, this is a lesson for all artists to learn from. We need to be meer aware and take meer responsibility regardless of who boeken our shows. Ultimately we as artists are to be held accountable."
