I made sure to make a large diverse list so hopefully any mario character you could want is accounted for. (but chances are I didn't succeed so I allowed the option to add your own)

I choose Vivian, I don't really like the idea of Vivian being in any game apart from a paper mario game but wouldn't mind her being playable in mario kart(or ssb but thats a different story) just as long as she doesn't end up in any of those mario partys.

As for other characters I'll admit they're mostly crazy ideas but I can see professor E.Gadd actually being in the game...

All of 'em! And maybe they could be on a bus, but it'd be nothing like Double Dash. It would simply be one driver with six passengers that didn't participate in the race in any way other than a visual differentiation from the other karts.
