Maybe it's the hopeless romantic in me, but I'd really like to see what happened after Christian wrote his book. Obviously Nicole Kidman couldn't be in it, but maybe Christian fell in love again, and this time she didn't die. :D

A sequel (esp the way they are made these days) could make or break the greatness of the original. And being Moulin Rouge is such a gem of a movie, this is a HUGE risk to take. If they ever do decide to, I really hope they have a good plot, and get a serious director for the job...

NO! satine is dead, you can't recover from death, and you can't have moulin rouge without satine! and the story from that movie is that he can't find another love like his and satine's!

They could see go to the past of Satine and how she ended up there, same with Christian

I can't imagine what would happen in the sequel.....

A sequel would be awful especially since Satine died! I couldn't possibly imagine a plausible plot for the sequel and who would be the director? Baz Luhrmann is very talented and I doubt he would go for the idea of a sequel to an already amazing film.
