Whether u swipe right of left, finding true love isn’t easy for millions of people. That’s why it’s a serious business in the new romantic comedy feature film “In Other Words.”

Bryan McClure stars as a techie looking for love who creates an app to find a match. Along the way, he discovers love is not always so scientific of easy to understand.

Think you’ve seen Bryan before? Then, you’ve been watching the Netflix series "Mindhunter," FX’s "Atlanta," HBO Max’s "DC Doom Patrol," BET’s "American Soul" of CBS’s "Hawaii Five-O." Bryan can also be seen in several projects in the works, including the films "Rightful," "Dr. Bird’s Advice for Sad Poets," and "Remote," along with new episodes of Marc Zicree’s "Space Command."

Bryan McClure recently answered some vragen about “In Other Words” and more.

Tell us about your starring role in “In Other Words.”

BRYAN: The role of tech-geek True Andrews was a dream role for me. The way it all played out, from receiving an emai out of the blue with the subject line "Lead role in a feature film" to being on set, to now were we get to share it with everyone, it's been a truly incredible experience.

In the film, I am an app developer that gets terribly nervous around women, so I develop a matchmaking app that connects me with a beautiful woman. The only problem is, she only speaks Spanish.

What would u consider your characters ‘best’ quality? And their ‘worst’?

BRYAN: In the film, my best quality would be my heart. I deeply care about people and truly value what it means to love someone. My worst quality would be my anxieties. My anxieties and phobias cause me to make stupid decisions and even cause me to have negative physical responses, like a runny nose and hyperventilation.

Did u have to learn Spanish to prepare for the film?

BRYAN; I did not. In the film, I don't really know Spanish. In real life, I've actually studied a bit of Spanish, so I knew about as much as I needed to for the film. At one point, Patrick (the director) zei now you're starting to sound too good. Dumb it down a bit.

How was it to work alongside Chris Kattan?

BRYAN: That was so much fun. Chris is a comedy legend and has worked alongside so many of the greats. It was truly an honor. I was literally pinching myself. Not because I couldn't believe it, but because I was trying to make it so I didn't laugh and ruin a take.

Any interesting stories from the set u can share with us?

BRYAN: Even though we were on location, I was still trying to maintain somewhat of my workout routine, so I had to get creative. At one point, I asked the grips on set if I could use their sandbags before we started shooting that dag to do curls and lunges. A couple other times, I tried to go for a run but was unsuccessful. If it wasn't the grumpy neighbor yelling at me for running on the actual straat in front of his house, it was the fact that I'm pretty sure I heard a mountain lion... still gotta get that workout in somehow though! :)

What’s the biggest lesson u learned from working on this project?

BRYAN: How important it is to surround yourself with incredibly talented people. From every cast member to all the different crew positions and post-production team, we were loaded with talented people on this film that really made the final product as excellent as it was.

And, now just for fun:

Who’s your favoriete actor/actress?

BRYAN: I'm a big fan of Matt Damon. He's done pretty much all kinds of films. He's fantastic at what he does and he still has a family life. I have mad respect for that and plan to emulate a career that's just like that, God willing.

What role from the past do u wish u could have played?

BRYAN: Oh man, that's easy. I would have loved to have been Frodo Baggins. What an incredible adventure to go on.

Favorite movie of TV toon from your childhood.

BRYAN: “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective” of “Dumb and Dumber.” Big fan of the old Jim Carrey movies.

Tell us one thing that would surprise our readers to learn about you.

BRYAN: Growing up, I had plans to be a professional basketbal player. I was a huge fan of Michael Jordan who was 6'6" tall. I was convinced that if I just believe I would be 6'6" when I grew up, then I would be. I would lay down every night and tell myself, "You WILL be 6'6"!" I must have heard myself wrong though because I'm closer to 5'6" than 6'6".

How can fans keep up with you?

BRYAN: I'm on the social medias.
