Dropkick Murphys really captured something unique. I heard part or their "I'm shipping up to Boston" cut somewhere and I had to find it on the net. I did and it really clicked with me. As an amature guitarist I had to use my ear to be able to play it for myself and found a whole new interesting way to expressive myself with it. My 5 year old was immediately enchanted with the gaelic style of music and rock mix and its now his favorite song of all time, replacing "bad to the bone" for him. My son (Logan) and I were instant fans. He runs around the house yelling "I lost my leg!" now and he really digs it. I hope you guys get this comment and know what an impact it's made with me and my kids. Were a Scotts/Irish family and we really dig the gaelic feel that the band has added to their punk music. I hope that the band hasn't broken up and wish I had heard of them much earlier. You guys are right up there with the Ramones and Motorhead in my opinion. Keep rocking and keep injecting Gaelic pride in all you do. When I heard that song I immediate had to go out and get a case of Guiness! Love ya .... go buan!
