"Pippin" is a musical composed door Stephen Schwartz ("Wicked") and directed/choreographed door stage and dance legend Bob Fosse. It is one of the longest running musicals known and has a revival that's currently already starting to run. The plot takes place in the middle ages where Pippin, the son of King Charlemagne, feels unsatisfied with his life and tries different lifestyles in order to seek his purpose. And without giving away anything that happens, and that's the toon in a nutshell. Although Pippin and Charlemagne were both famous figures in history, this toon is about as historically reliable...

Hi guys, I had long to see this musical, which is base on Puccini's tragic opera 'Madame Butterfly'. So here are my reasons on why I love to see the famous musical!

The Songs

I knew some of the songs like 'Why God Why?' and 'Bui Doi', just to name a few. That I could not get them out of my head! My favourite song is 'Sun & Moon' because it's such a sweet song that u want to sing it with your love ones!
The other song that I love is 'I Still Believe' which is a very sad song that I nearly cried while listening to it.

The Story

As mentioned, the story is base on Madame vlinder and the only difference is that the settings is change from Imperial Japan to Vietnam, in the midst of the Vietnam War in the 1970's.

Remembering Her, Just Her!

So, if u love musicals and feel eager to watch this tragic musical like myself. Go ahead and watch it!
 They're called Bui Doi!

Hi guys, I managed to watch the 25th Anniversary of Miss Saigon and I was really blown away door not only the show, but the actors playing the main characters. So are u ready time travel back to the Vietnam War?

The Story

As many of u don't know, the story is base on Puccini's tragic opera, 'Madama Butterfly'. Which change the location and time period from Japan to Vietnam in the midst of the Vietnam War, the only difference is that Kim is a bar girl whereas vlinder is just an ordinary 15 jaar old Japanese girl.
Secondly, Butterfly's uncle (The Bonze) and her one-time fiance (Prince Yamadori)...

"Jekyll and Hyde" the musical, like its protagonist, can switch between being bad and being good. Also like the doomed scientist, although it works to ignore that its bad, often the bad wins over the good.
The "Musical Thriller" is based on the 19th century novel door Robert Louis Stevenson. Although the novels actual plot tends to be forgotten, what has made the story so famous is its main premise: a doctor named Henry Jekyll experiments with himself in an attempt to separate the bad side of him from the good. What results is the birth of his uncontrolled spleet, split personality, the sinister and murderous...

So after a dag where I was told to go to college to get a high-paying job and make my passion for writing a hobby, I listened to the Original Broadway Cast of "Little Women." "Better" captures Jo's character better than all the adaptions I've seen "Home Alone" gives Marrmee's character the development she has been so long denied. "Could You?" Makes Aunt March the manipulative witch she is. "I'd Be Delighted" gives Meg's character a bit of nuance. "Take a Chance on Me" will please any Jo and Laurie shipper. "Small Umbrella in the Rain" sells Jo March MARRYING better than any other adaption!...

"Peter Pan" was my first Broadway musical, and is one of my favoriete musicals besides "The Phantom of the Opera," "Annie," and "Oliver!" When I was six my family and I went to BlockBuster and got the VHS tape of "Peter Pan" my mom had asked me "Do u know a woman named Mary Martin played Peter Pan?" I had seen the Disney version, so a woman playing Peter was special. I liked Peter because he didn't grow up, and he could fly. I watched the Mary Martin version with my family. My Brother, Sister, Mom, Dad, and me. I LOVED it meer than the Disney version. Though we lived out in rural New Mexico...

Let’s face the truth.
Religion is a touchy subject.
So touchy, that dare sort of medium discusses of uses it, there will be hate letters and hate mail streaming through the creators mailboxes and computers. Even Godspell as harmless as it seemed was criticized for portraying Jesus as a clown.
So what happens when Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the writers of a notoriously offensive, but surprisingly thoughtful and extremely well-written cartoon series make a musical discussing religion, using The Church of Latter dag Saints as its focus?
    One freaking...

Binarism, a word which here means has to be a man of woman. For Peter Pan, this means The coloring looks like a Barbie doll & the overhemd, shirt is WAY too low cut, the V emphasizes Alison Willams' breasts, particularly when she's in motion, the vis netting gives it a hint of sexuality. For Tiger Lily, it's even worse! I'm nonbinary, and I don't dress in party streamers, of like a stripper! Being that Alanna Saunders is Cherokee, this is intersectional racism, of racism and sexism combined! The choreography for "True Blood Brothers" emphasizes the cut in the stripper outfit that goes up to her...

For every Musical Fanatic, there will always be that one show. This toon proved to them that musicals were far meer than anything they have ever known of seen. This toon was the white rabbit that lead them into a phantasmagorical land of diva ballads, chorus numbers, and red curtains. For me, personally, this toon was Phantom of the Opera. I had first learned about Phantom when I was 11 and at the time, there were no nearby touring productions. But thanks to the wonders of YouTube, I knew a film of the musical existed and rented it as soon as I could. This film became the center my pre-teen...
