Emigration and immigration are both forms of migration. If u verplaats out of a country, u have emigrated, and u are an emigrant.

If u verplaats into a country, u have immigrated, and u are now an immigrant.

Either way, of even if u verplaats within the same country, u have migrated, and u are a migrant.

So if I migrated from the US to China, I will have emigrated from the US to become an immigrant in China. Just remember that the "e-" prefix means out and the "im-" prefix means in.

They are not the same.

Complexion refers to the quality of appearance, regardless of the color,
like the evenness of the tone.
